The CiT Workstation is a compact chassis designed for Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX systems. Its 19L volume and minimal footprint make it well-suited to deskside, under-desk, or rack-adjacent installations in office environments where space conservation is important. Despite its size, it retains sufficient clearance for key components, helping to simplify builds without requiring unconventional hardware.
Practical Cooling Design
Thermal performance is handled by a pre-installed 80mm PWM rear fan, with additional support for a front-mounted 80mm fan. Side ventilation and a high-density filtered front panel assist passive airflow, ensuring continuous cooling even in systems that run throughout the workday. The included PWM fan can be tied to CPU thermals for automatic speed regulation and noise management.
Build Quality & Construction
Constructed from 0.8mm thick SGCC steel, the chassis offers structural durability that stands up well to frequent handling and long-term use. This is particularly valuable in institutional rollouts or environments where systems are periodically relocated or serviced. The aluminum-effect front panel adds a professional appearance without compromising airflow or rigidity.
Front I/O for Modern Needs
A full suite of front I/O ports ensures broad compatibility with both legacy and modern peripherals. This includes two USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, one USB Type-C (Gen 2, up to 10Gbps), and standard audio/mic jacks. This mix supports a range of office devices—from external drives and docking stations to conferencing headsets and input devices—without needing additional hubs.
Security & Access
Designed with deployment security in mind, the case includes several physical protection features. These include a Kensington lock slot, padlock loop, chassis intrusion switch, and support for DB9/DB25 port blockers. The case supports GPUs up to 270mm in length and CPU coolers up to 143mm in height. A built-in, adjustable GPU support bracket provides extra reinforcement, particularly useful in transportable or high-use environments. Internal storage support includes a slim optical drive bay, up to three 2.5"/3.5" drive placements, and tool-free installation for key components—making system assembly and maintenance straightforward.
