THE BLADE 'DELTA THINLINE'Introducing the 'Delta Thinline' from the esteemed ‘Blade’ guitars, founded by industry icon Gary Levinson.
In 1987 Mr Levinson set forth to create his own range of guitars focussing on the highest integrity build, alongside the most innovative developments. Later that year, Blade guitars were unveiled to expectant eyes and ears at the Tokyo Music Show, and the rest, as they say…is history.
Fast forward to the present day, and the results of Gary’s unwavering commitment to building the finest quality guitars, full of revolutionary innovations are plain to see in guitars such as this, the stunning 'Delta Thinline'. STUNNING SEMI-HOLLOW BODY
The ‘Delta Thinline’ from Blade, is without doubt a spectacular sight to behold. But it’s only when you first take hold of the ‘Thinline’, that you can really begin to understand what a magnificent instrument this truly is, a masterclass in craftsmanship. Boasting a lightweight feel, aided by the ‘Thinline’s classy ‘F-Hole’, the Thinline’s body oozes class.
The use of American Pine offers many advantages, both sonically and otherwise. Firstly, American Pine makes for a gentle, but present high-end, whilst responding thoroughly well to low frequencies, and has an open midrange with magnificent sustain and resonance. Secondly, American Pine, whilst similar to spruce and cedar in its characteristics and tonal behaviour, is not similar in its physical weight, American Pine makes for lightweight feel. Good news for those guitarists who often find themselves performing prolonged sets and for those long, hard days in the studio!
The fingerboard is made from maple, which is a perfect choice of wood for the 'Delta Thinline' due to it producing a brighter tone which really accentuates the high-end tonalities, well suited to some screaming blues/rock licks! The neck itself is beautifully made and sit’s in the fretting hand with a brilliantly natural, comfortable feel.
Adjustable Tension Guide
UNMATCHED SUSTAINThe ‘Delta Thinline’ is packing some truly revolutionary technology. For example, the ‘Adjustable Tension Guide’ (ATG), this ATG technology, is unique to Blade guitars. It comprises of a small, spring loaded, height adjustable string tree which sits between the 1st and 2nd strings. This feature allows tension adjustment to compensate for the difference between various string gauges.
Furthermore, its asymmetric shape places slightly greater pressure to the 1st string than the 2nd, this design results in incredible sustain and minimum friction eliminating the majority of detuning problems.

BLADE - 'DELTA THINLINE'The Delta Thinline represents ‘Blade’ quality from top to bottom. Featuring unique technology, premium components and hardware far beyond its price point, the Delta Thinline effortlessly breezes past other guitars in its peer group. And looks good whilst it’s doing it too!
The Thinline sports Levinson’s own ‘LH-3’ humbucker in the neck position, and Levinson’s ‘TC-1B’ single coil in the bridge position. From the glassy, more cutting tones of the ‘TC-1B’, to the thicker, creamier, rounder voice of the ‘LH-3’, the spectrum of tones on offer with the Thinline is truly vast! Control over the pickups is determined by a 3-way pickup selector, allowing for a choice of either bridge/bridge & neck/neck options. If that wasn’t versatile enough, don’t forget it’s possible to modify the Thinline’s tone even further with the VSC control! There really is almost nothing the Delta Thinline can’t turn her hand to!
The Delta Thinline’s bridge system is dealt with via a sturdy and reliable 6-saddle bridge, which helps for any intonation issues and aids in retaining rock-solid tuning stability. Any concerns regarding any potential tuning issues can be firmly laid to rest thanks to the inclusion of the ‘Adjustable Tension Guide’ (ATG), this ATG technology, is unique to Blade guitars.
