Single-Cutaway Dreadnought Styling
time-tested designBased around one of the most popular acoustic body shapes, the single-cutaway dreadnought, Fender’s CD-60SCE is a near-perfect all-rounder and is ideal for pretty much any style or genre. The CD-60SCEs wide range of tones ensure it’s the ideal partner for singer-songwriters, but is equally at home in a band setting too!
Remaining true to the time-tested designs of the classic dreadnoughts, Fender chose spruce for the CD-60SCE top, mainly due to its bold resonance and sustain. Inside the CD-60SCE, you’ll find scalloped ‘X’ style bracing, which ensures a tough build, but whilst also enhancing the overall tone, sustain and resonance of the CD-60SCE. The single-cutaway also allows for easy access to the higher frets so you can hit those dreamy high notes with ease.

Further down the body, you’ll find a walnut bridge which helps in offering highly efficient transfer of string energy to the highly resonant Spruce top. Everything across the CD-60SCE is included to make this the perfect platform for the beginner guitarist to begin their musical journey!

Premium ElectronicsFender have included a Fishman pickup/preamp system, providing you with unmatched amplified performance with a range of onboard controls to your acoustic instrument without losing any of the natural, pure, rich and resonant tone from the CD-60SCE. The built-in tuner is placed right where you can see it, so you can keep your intonation perfect with ease.

Each guitar goes through a 22 step professional guitar set up process to make sure your new instrument sounds as the manufacturer intended it to play.
This means that your guitar may take an extra day to deliver, just so we can get these checks done. You’ll receive email updates once your guitar is ready for despatch.
