Product Overview The Live Gamer HD can capture your local PC gameplay without draining system resources. Now you don't need to set up another PC just for recording game footages. With the Live Gamer HD, your game machine is also the gameplay library. The RECentral software allows you to record your voice commentary along with the in-game footages to make your walkthrough video more impressive. Even better, you can record your voice whenever you want to regardless of the gameplay recording. The RECentral also can help you broadcast your live gameplay on TwitchTV and receive applause from the whole world. Features • 1080p 60 capture card with onboard hardware encoder (records in 1080p 30 fps)
• HDMI loop-out, leaves signal unaffected
• LOW CPU CONSUMPTION. Reduce FPS lag, by taking the load off of the CPU and GPU
• Record commentary with gameplay

Avermedia Live Gamer HD C985 Lite, 1080p In Game Capture is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average capture card Been using this card for a good month or two and can safely say it's much better than external capture cards. If you plan to use the likes of OBS software and this to stream, it can be done but is a bit of a headache. The supplied software and drivers are a disaster, but once past that, the actual card itself isn't too average to work with. Capable of up to 1080p 30fps recording and 720p at 60fps

Rated 5 out of 5 by from brilliant This product is simply amazing and also great value for money. it is great for first time live streamers or anyone in the game recording or tutorial making business. It records at amazing hd with hardly any lag. I had problems with downloading the driver but I figured out the cause.... When finding the driver make sure you select the right on, because the link sends u to a page that is for all drivers so click lite on the tab!

Questions & Answers

Whats the difference between this and the normal Live Gamer HD

Is there any difference in quality etc ? because the image looks the exact same as the live gamer HD
Asked by: LouisMason
The "full version" has a heatsink and a giant button you can press to record. That's really about it. I had this version for about a year before it started crashing my system so don't really rate it much

whats the difference with the avermedia c985 lite to the non-lite version?

Asked by: Diplow
Very little really, but I would recommend the Elgato HD60 Pro over either of these cards
