Product Overview
The Atomos Shinobi is a lethal introduction to video monitoring for small time video content creators and the new perfect companion to established photographers or creatives.
Atomos have equipped the Shinobi with a 4K screen and a resolution of 447ppi, with HDR at 10-bit, letting you input your snazzy camera straight in via the full sized HDMI port and get full view of what you're capturing. The Shinobi has a mirror mode, allowing you to see yourself correctly when filming and a 1000 nit brightness allows you to see everything even in bright sunny light.
The Multi-Tool Analysis View gives cinematographers as much information as possible, including histograms, waveforms and video scopes.
Shinobi runs on AtomOS 10, featuring multiple scopes and modes to perfect your picture, regardless of what you're doing. These include a new multi-view 'Analysis' view, plus a 3D and 1D LUT, Profile and Presets and anamorphic desqueeze monitoring. There's also:
• Focus Peaking
• 4:1 / 2:1 / 1:1 Zoom
• Zebra, False Color
• Frame Guides
• SMPTE Safe Area
• Waveform
• RGB parade
• Vectorscope
HDR is an important factor in modern day photography, cinematography and other video content, which the Shinobi is built to help with. The 10+ stops of dynamic range, with real time Log/PQ/HLG signals and HDR Monitoring UI, gives you the edge when editing in a format designed for grading in post.
The battery life on the Shinobi isn't drained as fast as the recording counterparts, only requires minimal effort from the battery to run as it simply just monitors all day.
