ASUS RS501A-E12-RS12U 2U Rackmount AMD EPYC Server

Driven by AMD EPYC 9005 processors with 192 Zen 5c cores, 12-channel DDR5 memory at up to 5200 MHz, and support for a maximum TDP of 360 watts. Its scale-up design accommodates up to 24 all-flash NVMe drives on the front panel, two additional rear drives, and five PCIe 5.0 slots, offering unmatched bandwidth and upgrade potential. Flexible networking is enabled through an on-board LAN module and an OCP 3.0 module with PCIe 5.0 support for lightning-fast connectivity. Enhanced cooling with an advanced heatsink achieves lower power-usage effectiveness (PUE), optimising total cost of ownership (TCO) for diverse data centre workloads. IT management is streamlined via the ASUS ASMB11-iKVM remote solution with ASPEED AST2600, ASUS Control Center software, and robust Root-of-Trust security. Designed for AI and HPC tasks, the server supports up to two dual-slot GPUs, including NVIDIA A100 and A40, AMD Instinct, and Xilinx accelerators.


AMD EPYC™ 9005 Series Processors

The AMD EPYC™ 9005 series processors bring incredible power to single-socket servers, delivering up to 192 cores built on Zen 5c architecture. Equipped with up to 1.152 GB of L3 Cache using AMD 3D V-Cache technology and 128 PCIe 5.0 lanes, these processors are ideal for intensive compute tasks, offering massive parallelism and memory capacity in a compact server setup.
