As i said above its all in the name if you playing solo then this card is good but if you play with friends and use voice comms then thats were it all goes wrong the interference that your friends hear sound like lawnmower or scooter apparently while to the user everything sounds fine, this is strange as all i did was swap out a Xoner DG for this card and that worked very well, just wanted something that next level up. if you dont believe me just google it, its all out there.

Bought this card as I bought the Razer Tiamat 7.1 headphones and really wanted to experience the best audio quality I could.
Very easy to install, just bear in mind you will need a spare 6 pin power connector as this sound card is a powered sound card.
Overall I've found this sound card to provide much superior sound quality compared to the integrated mobo sound card. I mainly use my PC for gaming, and in particular FPS games. There is a setting within the Asus software that comes with the soundcard which has a specific FPS setting. Gun fire and footsteps are heard loud and clear and in all honesty at times it feels like cheating !!

Cannot belive the difference between this and the standard mobo audio. With Astro A40's it is awesome.
