The Origin is versatile enough to use with any instrument imaginable and, when it comes to singer-singwriters, it shines through brilliantly on acoustic guitar and vocals. The hand-selected capsule is conjoined with high-end transformerless circuitry using only the best components.

Aston’s ‘SwiftShield’ brings the Aston ‘Swift’ shock mount and the Aston ‘Shield’ pop filter, into one tidy bundle to hand you the tools you need for the perfect setup for your studio vocal mic. Aston’s ‘Swift’ shock mount raises the bar in microphone mounting with the sheer ease of setup and customisation. Featuring 2 quick release spring clips designed to fit the Origin with ease, alongside a broad range of other mics, from 40-60mm diameter, setting and mounting your mics can now be done in mere seconds.
Aston reconceived the shock system, and similarly as with all their range, was worked from the ground up on an entirely new design idea. The ‘ShockStar’ suspension removes the requirement for fiddly rubber bands, but offers a large level of elasticity for 100% isolation.
