Asetek Fan Speed Controller Kit, 3pin Fan/Fan Controller/ Motherboard Kit is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as advertised Just like other reviewers, it's doesn't work, nor made any difference to RPM at all. Knob is poor quality too, it's not properly adhered to actual knob internally.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheap & Functional What can I say ? it's a pound... doesn't look that great, didn't fit in the expansion slot that well, but it's functional I used a splitter cable to control the two intake fans on the front of my case, set it to a speed that volume matched the rest of the system and left it be, can't really go wrong with it to be honest, like I said, it's a pound, it works what more could you want for that price ?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple manual fan speed control. If you have a spare expansion card slot in your computer case, this is a neat way to control your case fan speed. I was getting annoyed with my case fan being on full blast all the time, so tried this to slow it down a little. It comes with ample cables & connectors to plug between the fan and power source, then you just power up and twiddle the knob to adjust the fan speed down to a nice level where it doesn't sound like it's hoovering your carpet, keep an eye on the case temperature for a while to make sure you haven't slowed it too much, then leave it like that. You can always turn it up again if needs be. I'm really happy with this, I've turned a noisy monster into a quiet pet which purrs away quietly in the corner.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poorly constructed product I have always been happy with all my purchases from scan. But on receiving the fan controllers I was disappointed in the construction,The speed controller knob on both units was broken. The knob did not stop at max or minimum It just turned 360 degrees. It therefore did not control the fan speeds. I threw both of these controllers in the bin. And purchased an AERO CoolTouch E Fan from scan. I would suggest that the Asetek Fan Speed Controller Kits are removed from your stock. As this problem has been pointed out before. And only gives scan a poor reputation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cheap, but well made and very effective Easy to install, works well and cost-effective. The only downside is that it has to be installed at the back of the case, so it would depend where you're keeping your system whether that's going to be convenient or not.... Otherwise, no criticism to mention!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple to set up Allows to control Asetek 3800rmp fan for the optimal cooling / noise.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too simple but good value Uses a PCI space on the back panel of the case. Very simplistic speed control. Bought as I did not have enough fan ports on the motherboard. Can only use one fan. Ranges from a slow speed to a fast speed, no capability to switch off. However does the job well, good value.
