Frequently Bought Together
Product Overview The Alpine 11 Pro Rev.2 is the ideal cost-efficient heatsink for system builders. The multi compatible cooler is suitable for upgrade or replacement of noisy stock coolers. Features Silent Operation
The buffered-mounted 92 mm PWM fan with low noise impeller silently cools down your CPU with up to 95 W. The fan creates even at full speed only 0.4 sone and hence is almost inaudibly silent.

Easy Installation
The unique mounting system via push pins offers excellent stability and is applicable within seconds. The pre-applied ARCTIC MX-2 thermal compound makes the installation a clean process. The cooler is compatible to socket 775/1150/1151/1155 and 1156.

Intel Branding Part I
Intel Branding Part I
Date Issued: 1st Jul 2009

Intel’s been on a mission of late. That mission revolves around grouping and standardising key technologies under various banners that are designed to ensure hardware compatibility and consumer ease of use. We’ll take a closer look at three such technologies that fall under the headings of Centrino, Viiv, and vPro, respectively.

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

There’s been a lot of hype about Intel’s Core 2 recently, even since they launched Core in fact. Words like Conroe, Badaxe and Allendale have been flying around. The bottom line is that Core 2 is the name of Intel’s latest line of CPUs, based on a new micro-architecture, designed for speed and efficiency.

Anybody who has been near their share of computer systems will appreciate that not all systems make the same amount of noise. There are a number of reasons for why this is so. Firstly, a computer makes noise for different reasons. Generally, anything mechanical is going to make noise.

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cheap, Quiet, Looks good I've got 2 pcs of my own and built several for friends and family and have used this cooler in all of the builds, relatively cheap it's quiet and looks good too 14 January 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent cooling I purchased this heatsink to cool two MOSFET devices for a 10A programmable constant current generator. Perfect cooling for what I use it for , quite fan , controllable RPM by PWM. 03 March 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Odd fitting but does the job Seems a bit of an odd fiting method, I'm not entirely convinced that it puts the same pressure onto the CPU than the standard intel push pins or the Freezer 7 rev2 fitting. Seems to do the job though, it's quieter than the stock intel cooler, temps aren't quite as lowered as I'd hoped, but they're plenty good enough. 10 February 2015
