Product Overview
The aquadrive is a very elaborately manufactured harddrive cooler which also serves as a very good accoustic isolation device. For this purpose the aquadrive has a casing of 2mm brushed stainless steel.
The top- and bottomplate are covered with a special heavy mat that allows for very good absorption of high frequency sounds from the harddrive motor. The side panels are made from black colored, anodized aluminum.
The approx. 1.8 kg heavy aquadrive is decoupled from the computer case by special rubber pads which ensures that the lower frequency sounds do not transmitted to the computer case.
The harddrive is cooled by the two aluminum sides that are connected inside the aquadrive via a dynamically sealing plexiglas tube. To deal with harddrive tolerances the width of the aquadrive can be adjusted by +/- 1mm. And is Approved for harddrives with 15.000 rpm
