Product Overview

The Alphacool TPV fittings come from Alphacool's Enterprise Solutions product line and has been specially developed to be used with Alphacool TPV hoses. The connection in combination with the corresponding TPV hose is characterized by a particularly high tensile strength.

Enterprise Solutions Connections?

Alphacool uses the TPV water cooling connections exclusively for servers and workstations. Since longevity and safety are the most important buzzwords in this area, the straight TPV connectors use a barrier ring to secure the hose. This consists of a metal ring inside the connector, which is hooked into the hose. Under normal circumstances it is no longer possible to pull the TPV hose out of the connection.

Nylon as Material

In order to keep the weight as low as possible, the connections are made of nylon. The material is extremely resistant and extremely durable. A further advantage is the use of the connections in water circuits using copper or aluminium. Of course, nylon does not react with other materials in the circuit.

Watercooling
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.
