Product Overview Akasa double-sided thermal adhesive tape is a highly effective thermal interface designed for bonding heatsinks to chipsets or other components requiring strong fixing in a hot environment. Features
1. Ensure both surfaces are completely clean and free from oil or other contaminants.
Clean with Isopropyl or Akasa TIMclean

2. Cut tape to size.
Remove yellow protective liner from one side and apply to device using moderate pressure.
Remove orange protective cover from the other side and carefully position the device in place using moderate pressure
Take care to position the device correctly first time. The device can be used immediately after bonding.

3.Unused tape can be stored safely at room temperature in a dry environment .

Rated 5 out of 5 by Akasa AK-TT12-80 Reinforced Micro-Fibreglass If you have to stick your heat sinks on to something because there are no clips or screws, Or you broke something due to the crowbar being a tad to large for the job, This stuff will get you sorted, Just make sure you don't need to separate the parts at a later time, As you might need a bigger than average crowbar. 19 December 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by No problems at all Got this to replace adhesive on the heatsinks included with the Icy Vision. Very pleased with the ease of application and ease of cutting. Plenty left for more applications. Feels pretty strong and drops temps a little compared to the manufacturers included tape. Make sure the surfaces are clean and dry first and once applied and heatsinks fixed, apply pressure for about 10secs to make sure of the bond. Worked for me. 04 November 2013
