Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality the black cable sheath pulls away very easily leaving cable inners exposed, had to glue it, same on all the cables..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Simply don't work I'm rather confused by this, as many reviewers above sing the praises of these cables but they simply don't work for me. I ordered 5 for a new Haswell build and spent a while trying to understand why none of my hard drives were being detected. Eventually I tried some other sata cables and everything started working fine. I'm not sure if these cables simply are broken or don't connect snugly with the sata ports on my Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC. I will be returning these.. I tried using one of these ( and that worked fine. The reason I didn't order more of these instead of the Scan branded ones is because a review states that the Akasa cables are bulky and make it difficult / impossible to connect another cable in the above socket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Not much to say, it's a cable... It has a flat cable design, so the cable can bend a lot, which for my case where the HDD's are stored in a crazy, wrong-way kinda way, the SATA cables needed to do a multitude of 180degree tight-bends. Good, 5/5
