At first this PSU seemed much better than my previous, however after loading up any game or using the machine for anything other than idling it starts to make a serious amount of buzzing/whining.
There are other options available that can offer the same standard at a lesser cost and don't make this amount of noise.

Would certainly recommend this to anyone - one of the best PSUs I've had!

Received the PSU as expected. Following a purchase from amazon of a corsair PSU I had to look for something that would replace a current 850 Watt PSU. The Seasonic was well packaged which a pack of the cables required to plug in to your build with a book odd instructions and a guarantee (unlike the corsair PSU I purchased).
As most people that use scan can know what and how to install it will simply say that I installed appropriatly. I plugged in and switched much PC on. It booted up and the PSU worked perfectly. Really applied my overclock it is running as expected.
Works well for medium builds and has all the capacity required.

I bought this psu to run my i7/16gb/gxt770 system. It boots out enough power cleanly and quietly, while not being too big to fit in my tower. The modular design and selection of cables was pretty good along with a handy pouch to store the spares in. The box was well padded to protect the psu in transit.

Not the cheapest PSU, but Gold efficiency, fully modular cables and Seasonic build quality make it a no-brainer.
Note for sleevers: the 24pin ATX cable has 4 double wires, making it a little trickier to sleeve using the heatshrinkless paracord method.
The EPS12v is 1:1, and it's easy enough to make custom single-plug PCI-E cables (one double wire).
