Rated 5 out of 5 by from Already at work The PSU arrived via DPD this morning and is already at work. In the box were the proper UK plug and lead, a packet containing the screws, a dozen 150mm cable ties and 3 ‘Seasonic’ Velcro straps. There’s also a 24 pin motherboard connector tester that I thought was a great addition – until I realised that it is just a way of shorting the pins that switch the PSU on. I had forgotten just how many internal cables there are with a non-modular PSU, many of which are surplus, which brings me to my box of modular PSU cables. The Internet tells me that they aren’t interchangeable, and I can never remember which goes with which PSU. Stimulated by the tester that isn't really a tester, I looked in vain for some testers to test Molex 4 pin and SATA power cables, because at least then I could find out which cables work properly with several modular PSUs I have without blowing up any devices connected. It will have to be the Multimeter I’m afraid - or get a new PSU every time.
