We are becoming more and more flexible in today’s society - we work on the move and always have our notebooks with us. So the accessories also have to adapt. The slim design, its low weight and integrated cable of the IB-HUB1414-C3 make the hub the ideal mobile companion, each with two of the USB Type-C™ and two USB Type-A connections.
There is also a simple way
USB 3.0 Type-C™ ports have two distinct advantages over the traditional USB plugs. They are smaller and therefore ideal for thin notebooks and mobile devices and it is no longer necessary to insert the connector in a particular orientation. It always fits and thus saves the user a lot of small annoyances when connecting devices.
The middle does the trick - and the IB-HUB1414-C3 demonstrates it. It has two USB Type-C™ as well as two Type-A connectors and keeps the balance between the longstanding connections and those that are now establishing. This makes it the perfect companion for existing equipment as well as for equipment purchased in the future.
Not only useful but handsome
Devices that we use every day should not only work, but also appeal to us visually. The IB-HUB1414-C3 with its beatiful cut on the top side of the high-quality aluminium housing would like to please us here - and reaches this goal very well. You've probably read the USB Tekspek, and perhaps your intrigue, or product interest, has lead you to look up Firewire as well. The two are similar in some respects, particularly some of the products that use the two technologies. However, Firewire has its differences, which means it has both benefits and drawback when compared to USB. This Tekspek will look at Firewire and also look at it with respect to USB.

In computing terms, system buses are used to connect various components to the motherboard’s core logic and, often, to each other. Modern PCs run with a multitude of high-speed buses ranging from the interconnects between, say, the chipset and the CPU, graphics card, memory, and peripherals.
