Customers have the freedom to use their choice of SAS or SATA storage device; SSD’s for performance or large hard disks for maximum capacity. Moreover, the RocketStor 6414AS provides advanced configuration features for customers that need to fine tune storage for specific applications or create multiple arrays, such as RAID Rebuild Priority, RAID Block Size selection, and DV Mode.
Connectivity Solution The RocketStor 6414AS utilizes high-performance Mini-SAS connectivity to directly support up to 4 SAS/SATA hard drives or SSDs in one or RAID storage configurations. The robust and secure Mini-SAS connector delivers a maximum data transfer bandwidth of 2,400MB/s, and is an ideal solution for business or mission critical Workstations that require highly sustained storage performance.
RAID Architecture The RocketStor 6414AS is ideal for RAID 5 /6 SATA and SAS Storage Applications that require Maximum Sustained of RAID 5/6 Performance. Robust, Built-In Hardware RAID: Dedicated ARM-based processors and Hardware RAID 5/6 Engines with 512MB of DDR3 onboard cache allow the RocketStor 6414AS to work independently and minimize the RAID operation's impact on the host system or system loads impact storage performance. DV Mode Technology intelligently manages the flow of large data blocks and write-back caching to minimize latency and ensure consistent, sustained high-performance transfers for media-rich applications.
Uncompromised Storage Availability and Accessibility The RocketStor 6414AS has integrated a series of preemptive security measures to maximize Storage uptime whenever data is needed. Redundant RAID 5 and 6 protection shields storage configurations from 1 or 2 disk failures, respectively.
