The GR5640-B31A is an all in one hardware RAID solution that embeds the JMB394 RAID controller chipset. It is economical and efficient RAID storage that can be easily connected to a computer.
Equipped with a clear readable LCM display and LED indicators for system monitoring during operation so users can easily grasp the status of the system at all times. Moreover, it comes with visual and audio alarms whenever failure occurs.
Three RAID Modes
The GR5640-B31A is a four drive storage system with JBOD / RAID 0 / RAID 5 storage options for storing contents in large scales. Industrially designed with an aluminium exterior that is tough and durable for hard drive protection of the highest grade.
RAIDON GR5640-B31A enables you to back up your documents, family photos, event movies, downloaded files, or other digital assets reliably and efficiently. If a hard drive happens to fail, simply swap out the defective drive and replace with a new one. You can keep working on your projects and GR5640-B31A will automatically rebuild the data in the background.

With the high-speed USB 3.2 Type-C to A cable, the GR5640-B31A can be used in both Mac & PC environments providing great convenience and flexibility.
3.5" HDD and 2.5" HDD & SSD Support
Capable of providing big storage capacity and supports any kind of disk capability of 3.5" and 2.5" SATA/SSD HDD products. It is designed with strong aluminium, providing excellent protection for your storage disks that you could fully rely on for professional or creative work.
Tough and Durable Shielding Body
The GR5640-B31A has a seamless 4.0 mm thick all-aluminium housing that is rugged enough to withstand demanding use. With the aluminium body, the system dissipates heat faster for greater stability and performance, ultimately extending the lives of the drives.
Low Noise Fan Design
The new GR5640-B31A has a built-in low-noise fan to allow the device to quickly dissipate heat without affecting the transmission performance. You could manually adjust the fan switch on the rear.
In addition, if the fan fails or the device temperature is too high, the buzzer will beep and let the user know that the device has failed. The user can turn off or turn on the buzzer through the mute adjustment switch on the back panel.
Monitor Expansion and Charging
The GR5640-B31A gives you up to 3Gbps data transfer. You could easily use it for storing data and editing your huge photo galleries directly from your notebook or mobile phone from its easy and friendly to use features.
The Type-C connector provides 24W (12V/2A) / 18W (9V/2A) / 15W ( 5V/3A ) USB Power Delivery (PD) using USB Type-C to C cable that can charge a notebook and mobile phone when data been accessed. GR5640-B31A also provides one DP 1.1a DisplayPort for 2nd monitor expansion*.
Note: For DisplayPort (DP 1.1a) and USB Power Delivery (PD) functions, GR5640-B31A needs to be used with a USB Type-C to C cable, and the host must support these functions.
