Personalized RAID Storage
Dedicated RAID 5 Configuration
RAID 5 delivers an optimal combination of data security and performance; “stripe” RAID capability with protection for up to 1 hard disk.
This means your data will remain ready and accessible even after a disk failure.
Dual RAID 1, RAID 0 or Single Disks
The RocketStor 6114V can host and manage a variety of configurations, such as dual RAID 1 arrays, a 4-drive RAID 0 array, or 4 individual hard drives.
RAID 1 provides a “hidden” duplicate of the source drive for each array – in a sense, and automated backup. In the case of a source drive failure, the hidden drive will automatically take over.
RAID 0 maximizes speed and storage capacity, but offers no data security in the case of disk failure.
Configure Arrays in 3 Easy Steps!
RocketStor Manager Solution
Creating arrays has never been easier! Each RocketStor 6114V includes an easy to use, web-based management utility. The built-in Array Configuration Wizard allows users of any experience level to create any type of RAID array in three easy steps.
Advanced Management Features allow customers to configure Email notification to inform one or more users of changing storage conditions while outside of the work environment, and manage storage remotely via a local network connection.
Safeguard Your Storage Investments
The RocketStor 6114V seamlessly integrates LED features, an audible alarm, and intelligent cooling apparatus to ensure your storage investments stay healthy and accessible.
• Intuitive LED's: Activity - Blinking Blue, Power On - Solid Blue.
• Intelligent Fan Control: Automatically adjusts fans speeds to maintain consistent ambient temperatures while keeping unwanted noise to a minimum.
• Audible Alarms: Configure to notify in case of overheating or device failure.

You've probably read the USB Tekspek, and perhaps your intrigue, or product interest, has lead you to look up Firewire as well. The two are similar in some respects, particularly some of the products that use the two technologies. However, Firewire has its differences, which means it has both benefits and drawback when compared to USB. This Tekspek will look at Firewire and also look at it with respect to USB.
