3XS Student Composer SC550
This system is ideal for composition students, but is equally applicable for anyone wanting a cost-effective solution to scoring with large orchestral libraries. The system is based around the 16C/32T AMD Ryzen 9 5950X CPU with a fast 1TB PCIe 4.0 system disk, 2TB M.2 SSD drive for libraries and a 3TB mechanical hard drive for backups and archiving. There is potential to expand storage in the future with SATA drives or PCIe host cards.
Orchestral template projects are always memory hungry, so we have included 64GB of DDR4 RAM, leaving two empty slots to easily upgrade to 128GB if required. The graphical capabilities are more than enough for any DAW application, including when scoring to video.
The system comes with a sound deadened case, upgraded be quiet! fans and substantial connectivity including 4x USB 3.2 ports and dual Thunderbolt 4 ports to connect to the widest choice of audio interfaces and peripherals.
