BenQ PV3200PT: Big Monitor, Crisp Views
Post-Production Done RightTaking the success of BenQ’s last model, the PV3200PT is the next leap in BenQ’s line of HDR enabled, 4K UHD monitors. The 31.5” monitor is perfect for those who work within video, photography or art. Whether it’s during the creation of your project or during the post-production, the PV3200PT provides clarity, extensive detail and luscious textures on a 10-bit panel. As well as supporting HDR, the panel has 99% Adobe RGB, 100% sRGB colour space coverage, giving you an even colour across the whole screen.
Another LevelWorking on a 4K monitor is another level above the old 1080p, especially when working within photography, as you can see the details that might need a touch up, in absolute clarity. With a resolution of 3840x2160, everything that displays on the panel will be the highest quality, providing your video content with brilliant vibrancy.
All the colours of the 10-bit, HDR enabled rainbowThe 100% Rec. 709 allows you to see colours as they were intended to be seen, offering a wider spectrum of colours to reproduce and combined with the 10-bit colour display, that’s one billion colours at their highest quality available. Even the blacks and whites will be of a higher tier above the rest, as with HDR enabled, you’ll see the images on the screen in a way that’s closer to what the eye naturally sees in real life.
Hardware and Calibration
AccuracyBenQ’s PV3200PT allows you to utilise Hardware Calibration, a system that when accompanied by external calibrators* and Palette Master Element Calibration Software, you can set the monitor’s output without altering the graphics card you’re using.
(*The BenQ PV3200PT is compatible with the following Calibrators: X-Rite i1 Display Pro / i1 Pro / i1 Pro 2 & Datacolor Spyder 4 / Spyder 5. Calibrators not included.)
Extras and Bonuses
OSD ControllerWith the OSD Controller you no longer need to awkwardly reach for buttons any longer and if the default settings aren’t to your liking, you can reconfigure it to other settings or modes. You can switch between the EBU (European broadcasting union standard) and SMPTE-C (North American TV broadcast) to view your project in your desired standard.
