Asus Monitor - Ultra HD (4K) - 32" IPS LED Display - PA329Q

Experience Asus UHD (4K) Monitor Visuals

The Asus PA329Q boasts a truly impressive level of detail thanks to its 4K (UHD) resolution. The high resolution is backed up by 100% Adobe RGB and a 16-bit look-up table. At 32” this 4K PA329Q that is backed up by incredible technologies will surely immerse you in games and other media, filling your peripheral vision with detail filled digital worlds.

Wider, Bigger, Larger View all at Once

Ultra high definition 3840 x 2160 resolution (4K UHD) yields a superior pixel density of 157 PPI (pixels per inch) on the large 32-inch screen, for outstandingly detailed images. Never miss a shot again and always have the advantage by filling your peripheral vision with detail filled action.

FlickerFree Display, Safer Gaming

Flicker-Free technology reduces flicker to give you a comfortable gaming experience. This minimizes instances of eyestrain and other potentially damaging eye ailments when you're embroiled in long, drawn-out gaming sessions.

See More with an Enhanced Colour Count

The 10-bit Deep Colour RGB display panel ensures substantially more natural transitions between hues for exceptional realism. A smooth blend between colours can be vital in modern games to create a truely immersive experience, helping to display the game's true colours, as well as revealing commonly used particle effects to their spectacular full potential.

Blue Light Reducer

Reducing the amount of blue light ultimately allows our eyes to feel less tired while working long hours with a computer screen. We achieved it by adjusting the monitor's brightness and color temperature through a new feature called “Blue light reduction” easily accessible through the monitor’s OSD menu.

Image Scaling with Ease

A hotkey lets you preview your photos and documents on screen in their actual sizes prior to printing; it also provides you with an alignment grid to ensure everything is straight and true.

There's also an intuitive 5-way navigation joystick so you can easily access and switch OSD settings on the onscreen menu.

1ms Response Time

Fluid movement with ASUS PA329Q – world’s leading 1ms (GTG) response time , the fastest available, and 60Hz refresh rate for true 4K visuals and gaming. Choose the right path to success, don’t let a slow display stop you.

Unobstructed Visuals

Each hue remains consistent from virtually any viewpoint with an ultra-wide viewing angle at 178°/ 178°. Stream at any angle with near 100% accurance and allow spectators to enjoy your games as much as you.

Choosing a monitor is not an easy decision to make, and not just because of the large number of variations in resolution, refresh rates, sizes and connectivity options. There are also varying panel technologies used to form each display that need to be considered. These panel technologies can be grouped into three broad categories which cover the vast majority of monitors sold in the consumer market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Pro Grade Monitor This is an excellent monitor for design professionals whose work is mostly with colours. If you are in need of a large pro grade monitor, look no further. Amazing picture quality, top level material use. Matte screen is also great. You'll need a desk with deeper width to put this monster on though. One downside is the built-in speakers which are not that great. It does the job with basic stuff like Skype chats, etc. but you'll need better speakers if you want to listen to music.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic monitor Thought long and hard before deciding which high end 4k monitor to buy. This is easy to assemble, just click in the stand. Initially thought I had a faulty one as it wouldnt switch on, but found the power cable needs to very firmly inserted, then works fine. No stuck or dead pixels I can run my desktop, work laptop, a pvr and a dvd player all through the DP and hdmi 2.0 comnnections. All look brilliant and the colour accuracy is what I want for my photography. A couple of operation issues to bear in mind. My desktop can do 60hz via DP, the laptop can only do 30 hz. The DP setting has to pick one or the other and stay set to that. Swap from desktop to laptop and you have to go into settings and change the DP type to get the laptop to display at all as DP 1.2 will not display the laptop. Simple way around though is to connect the laptop to hdmi which will display either a 30hz or 60 hz source. No real issues working on this with my laptop at only 30hz either. It is a bit fiddly to change source as it takes some time to accept the previous source is not being used and until it gives up you can't select another source. However power down the source or disconnect and then power up the new one and it quickly finds the new source itself. I probably wont use the two sources or 3 or 4 source modes much if ever, but the PiP is great for watching the news etc whilst working.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great monitor visually although not perfect As an overall review, this is a great monitor, but has one or two usability flaws. I'm primarily using this monitor with a MacBook Pro Retina 13" (MacOS 10.12) but also my work Lenovo X240 Windows 8.1 laptop, both of which are are able to drive the display at its full UHD resolution @ 60Hz via the DP & MDP ports. Visually it is stunning, with native support for the full Adobe RGB gamut: using it with Lightroom it's absolutely ideal. I'm not a gamer, so have no opinion re the refresh rate. There are one or two niggles though: - the on-screen menu is both fiddly to use and less than intuitive. The buttons are on the back of the screen & is often difficult to work out what button to press to achieve the result you want. - if you're using DP/MDP to get the optimal screen resolution, on the Mac at least the only way of controlling the volume seems to be via the fiddly on-screen menu / button combo - the standard Mac volume controls are disabled. - the monitor seems very sensitive to cable selection & temporary connection / disconnection: whilst setting it up with both the PC & Mac it appeared to "sulk", claiming that there was no signal, but leaving it alone for a few minutes it sorted itself out eventually. If your set up is fairly stable then I imagine it'll be fine, but if you're continually disconnecting & reconnecting the monitor I expect you'll get pretty frustrated pretty quickly!
