3 Way ScanFX HDMI Black Switch Box Manual/Auto + Inbuilt Cable is rated 1.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not do what it says on the box, otherwise OK Scan offered to test it and replace with a remote controlled higher priced item. I have no quibble with Scan, only with the manufacturer's description. I am continuing to use it manually as I need the exercise!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mostly a miss. I've tested this with my Wii U, PS3 and Xbox 360. The Wii U was okay, detected and passed through, the 360 was completely garbled, even though it was detected. And the PS3 wasn't recognised at all. The device uses power sent from the sending device to power the switch and detect a signal. The PS3 doesn't send power so it doesn't detect it. It also appears to not work with HDCP sources is my guess. In the end, you get what you pay for and these switches are going for £4-5 on Amazon with 2-3 star reviews at most.
