With more than one type of connection available, and the thorny subject of signal encryption to contend with, just because your monitor and graphics are capable of 1,920 x 1,080 or better does not necessarily mean they will be able to display HDTV in all its glory.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Syloxus from The monitor I had been looking for! This is the first 1440p monitor I have used, and the first 144Hz monitor I've used. There is a very noticeable difference from 1080p and 60Hz. The image quality is fantastic, and the screen has great viewing angles. So far I have had zero issues with ghosting or screen tearing, and the monitor just feels smooth. The curve took some time to get used to, but now I prefer it. While the headset stand is not an important feature, it's incredibly useful, especially since I had nowhere to put my headset before. The Freesync function works great, games look amazing and run incredibly smooth. The MSI OSD software works great, easy to change your monitor settings without using the circle button on the back of the monitor. It comes with a great stand, but can be Vesa mounted too if you wish to do that. Overall this monitor has everything I was looking for and is working great.

Great quality both on screen and build wise. Seems to be the perfect size for gaming too. I'd like to see the brightness improved a bit when Anti-Blur is enabled but other than that, great all round.

Extra nice touches include the hanger for headset and a little joystick on the back to go through menus. I needed an excellent gaming monitor for my 2070 and now I have 1, was definitely worth spending the extra and paying for quality

This new revision of an already excellent monitor hasn't changed much other than on the rear at least the RGB is more prevellant and instead of a red symmetrical motif you get a nice RGB swoosh. It being on the rear however is pretty pointless if you're monitor is against a wall or you play in a well lit room. The stand whilst perfectly adequate feels a bit cheap and plasticy, but is very easy to assemble and simple enough to adjust. There's no 180 degree twist, but good height and tilt adjustment ranges. The image quality is excellent for a good value monitor. If you've been playing 1080p 60hz this is a major step up in quality. 1440p 144hz is the way forward and this monitor is great in displaying this. I would say it's foe the average to fairly serious gamer. There is a nice range of preset monitor set ups for different game types. For me, absolutely no bleeding on the edges. The joystick on the rear is easy to use to navigate the menus. A very good value monitor I won't want to change for years. Great image quality just slightly let down by it build. Special mention to MSI customer services and they're customer programme both of which are brilliant.
