Rated 5 out of 5 by Andy82 Beautiful, accurate, well-sized, but not cheap.
I find the size of this screen to be just about perfect and certainly a huge upgrade from the 21.5" 1680*1050 monitor I used to use as my main monitor.
The colours are bright, vibrant and clear, producing really beautiful overall image quality.
Lots of connection options.
Not cheap, but particularly if accurate colour reproduction matters to you, well worth it.
I have a little niggle in that using the included display port cable on a windows machine, programs get re-sized every so often, which isn't a huge problem but is annoying. The root cause seems to lie in the DP specification and is said to go away if using a different cable connection type such as HDMI - but I don't have one spare to test this. Exiting or uninstalling the dell display manager program seems to reduce the frequency too, but doesn't outright stop it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ScottW An outstanding monitor
I needed to increase my screen 'real-estate' so I decided to purchase a 27" Dell Ultrasharp. I was certainly not disappointed in this monitor. The QHD resolution is perfect for my requirements and the screen clarity is impeccable. I use the monitor for both working and playing games and it does an excellent job at both. I was so impressed that I bought another. The only reason that I haven't bought a third to replace my 24" Samsung is that I do not have enough room on my work desk!

Rated 5 out of 5 by PaulMM Liked it so much we bought 2 more
We needed a high resolution monitor, with good display properties, to go with a new workstation. This met our requirements at a sensible price.
We were so impressed we have now replaced two other monitors with these.
Look smart; nice adjustable height and angle. Nice sharp image, good colour and contrast, even display even from an angle.
Like the display manager feature which allows automatic tiling of windows on the screen, helpful when we need to bring together data from several files.

Rated 5 out of 5 by linqserver Ideal for Programming and occasional gaming.
I have been using U2715H for 6 months now. Mostly for programming but also for graphics - Photo Shop and Cinema 4DR17 - 3D modeling and animation (Studding Software/Game Development).
So far it exceeds my expectations. Texts are sharp and pleasant to look at. Colours are perfect and viewing angles outstanding.
2560x1140 native resolution provides massive productivity boost.
It is possible to work on 3 full sized Ms Word documents at the same time.
It has one of the best colour profiles for working with texts I have seen on a PC monitor.
Additional colour modes encompass Multimedia, Gaming and Movies.
During programming and reading I am using Paper color mode as it changes the hue to warmer eraser on eye palette of colours.
Game color mode enables dynamic back-light which changes with the level of brightness of the scene. Nice feature but while playing Doom 3 famous for it dark shadowy maps it was getting really dark, perhaps to dark. (someone might like it but for me it was to immerse)
Occasional gaming is possible but I would not recommend this monitor for competitive games. I played a fair bit of Quake 3 Arena, Quake 3 Live and Doom 3 on it and I have no real issues with it while using game mode. However 60 Hz refresh rate and just under 10 ms response time is playable but doesn't provide supper smooth experience. Other games where image is not changing so dynamically and drastically like in Q3 and alike can benefit from gorgeous color reproduction and massive, massive screen real estate.
Connectivity is another strong side of this monitor.
It supports DP1.2 but it has to be switched on in the menus.
Does not support VGA and I see this as a positive.
Touch sensor menu buttons aren't terrible and I got use to them very quickly. Menu itself is clear and easy to use (classic dell menu).
Dell Ultrasharp series are the Standard on its own and this monitor is the best showcase for this. It is perfect for someone who like myself spend long hours inf front of the screen working with texts and graphics. Would not buy it for gaming - but gaming is definitely possible on this monitor. In the future I might look in to buying a gaming monitor but for now I don't feel this is necessary.
In general I am very happy with this product and I would recommend it to anyone who meets earlier mentioned criteria.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cambridge02142 Monitor OK, Dell USB3 uplink cable rubbish
I bought this for my 2015 Macbook Pro Retina 15". The monitor is outstanding and the delivery from Scan was great.
All worked fine except the USB 3 hub which on both my Macbook Pro and a windows laptop we have would not recognise any devices. After much reading on the Dell support forums the issue seems to be a low quality cable that they ship with the monitor. I bought a £12 USB3 uplink cable from Amazon and next day plugged it in and all seems to work perfectly.
I did call Dell support who after 1 hour basically came up with nothing despite me pointing to the feedback from their expert employees who were informing of the solution on their own forums. I left it with the guys saying he would get back to me, but no one did. Then about a week later a UPS guy shows up wanting me to give my new monitor for a reconditioned previous revision version with no word from Dell. I politely told him to go on his way.
About another week to ten days later Dell support called back to say the agent who I spoke to "left" and she had picked up his open support requests. They refunded my money for the cable and some for my troubles.
Overall, excellent monitor and good support except for the bad luck I had speaking to a guy who knew nothing. My recommendation is to buy a good quality USB 3 uplink cable with the monitor and you should be all set. It is fast, clear, bright and perfectly even brightness from corner to corner.

I really love this screen. Difference is amazing between this screen and my previous screen (which was good at time of purchase).
Not cheap but I suppose you get what you pay for.
Lots of ports which is nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tris Fantastic for colour sensitive work
I've had this monitor for a few months now. I bought it because I work as a video game artist and as such colour accuracy is important to my work. I was so surprised by how off my old monitor was! So orangey and dull. This monitor is bright, and the colours are fantastic. It's big and the QHD resolution is fantastic. The stand is great too. Can't think of a single fault. It feels well made. I might buy a second one! Definitely recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by johnnyp Perfect partner to my Mac Mini
Was looking for an alternative to the overpriced Apple display and found this Dell. Worked straight out of the box - up and running in two minutes. Bright and crisp graphics - and a matt screen! Recommended alternative to Apple if you're on a budget and/or don't want a glossy screen.
