Product Overview

Perfection Captured on Screen

Taking the success of BenQ’s last model, the SW271 is the next leap in BenQ’s line of HDR enabled, 4K UHD monitors. The 27” monitor is perfect for those who work within video, photography or art.

Post-Production Done Right

Whether it’s during the creation of your project or during the post-production, the SW271 provides clarity, extensive detail and luscious textures on a 10-bit panel. As well as supporting HDR, the panel has 99% Adobe RGB, 100% sRGB colour space coverage, giving you an even colour across the whole screen.

Working on a 4K monitor is another level above the old 1080p, especially when working within photography, as you can zoom into photos and see the details that might need a touch up, in absolute clarity. With a resolution of 3840x2160, everything that displays on the panel will be the highest quality, providing your video content or art with brilliant vibrancy.

All the Colours of the 10-Bit, HDR Enabled Rainbow

The 99% Adobe RGB allows you to see colours as they were intended to be seen, offering a wider spectrum of colours to reproduce and combined with the 10-bit colour display, that’s one billion colours at their highest quality available.

Even the blacks and whites will be of a higher tier above the rest, as with HDR enabled, you’ll see the images on the screen in a way that’s closer to what the eye naturally sees in real life.

BenQ’s SW271 allows you to utilise Hardware Calibration, a system that when accompanied by external calibrators* and Palette Master Element Calibration Software, you can set the monitor’s output without altering the graphics card you’re using.

There’s not even any need to carry around or use standard display cables, especially as laptops start to move away from traditional output ports on thinner models, as the SW271 supports USB-C for pure convenience. Not only does it pass data through at 5Gbps, but the video is full 4K, with absolutely no lack of quality.

Get the Advantage with Choice

For those within post-production, colour correction and the granular jobs that require the most attention, BenQ have included multiple viewing modes to take advantage of. There’s an Advanced Black & White Mode, which allows you to choose from three presets to apply a filter that will give you some indication of what to work towards for that desired effect.

You can see the colours of different spaces by enabling PIP/PBP mode to activate GamutDuo, which allows you to see your content side-by-side for evaluation.
All this can be done with the Hotkey Puck, based in the centre of the monitor’s stand. No need to awkwardly reach for buttons any longer and if the default settings aren’t to your liking, you can reconfigure it to other settings or modes.

The SW271 comes with a detachable shading hood that can be fitted whether the monitor is portrait or landscape. With it attached, you can avoid ambient lighting, glare or other disruptions, leaving you with the perfect representation on screen.

*The BenQ SW271 is compatible with the following Calibrators: X-Rite i1 Display Pro / i1 Pro / i1 Pro 2 & Datacolor Spyder 4 / Spyder 5. Calibrators not included.
