Rated 5 out of 5 by Kingston Savage SSD 'Super drive' I started using SSD from 2012, when we build our sons computer. Used Kingston 3K hypex drive. So far it has never had any problems, Would recommend these to anyone building or upgrading. When I thought the transfer speed couldn't get any faster this Savage drive is even slightly faster than the lighting fast Hypex 3K!!!! 11 April 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by No Complaints What is there to say about an SSD? System load times and program responsiveness are the highlights for me, with the SSD replacing an SSHD for my OS drive. Comes with a few included accessories such as a 3.5 to 2.5 adapter plate w/screws. Also included a free copy of Acronis TrueImage HD which did the job of copying my system files over without a hassle. Very Pleased 01 April 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super fast boot up I am running an older system with x6800 dual core extreme with 8gb of ddr2 800mz. This drive has given my old dinosaur a new lease of life. the boot up times are much improved whole pc seems to be reacting much faster. Now just got to get saving to replace the mo/board cpu and ram to make the most of the drive lol. 28 October 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by HyperX Savage 240GB. Superb. Very pleased with this drive, No issues what so ever,Fitted & working straight from the box, Win 7 & W10 64bit on an AMD system. Unlike the Samsung EVO I bought from Scan a few months back, That they told me was A O K following an RMA request, Despite the well known issues with " Firmware problem " that Samsung has finally acknowledged, Eventually. So unlike the fiasco with the Samsung, This Kingston drive works flawlessly and is notably faster than the Samsung product. Could have saved myself the RMA return fee of £30 quid, If I had bought the Kingston in the first place, Or stuck with Crucial. But hey ho there ya go, The Kingston Hyper X Savage is a very solid piece of kit, The product finish is top notch to, A tad flashy for my taste, But some might like that in a windowed case. Overall Very highly recommended indeed. 17 October 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Recommended Upgrade I wanted to jump to an SSD as my 2TB HDD was taking forever to boot as it was packed with Files, Music, Videos and Games so wanted one for a Boot Drive for OS and Software, went through lots of reviews and then chose this Hyper X Savage which does not disappoint, I have got around 1.2 TB used on my HDD now with just the OS and Software on the SSD and my PC will start and run anything in seconds. The SSD not only performs it looks good although in my system its not seen. 05 October 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by SSD may be fine, but no joy with included Acronis Cloning tool I can use this SSD for storage no problem but I have failed to get it to boot. Good packaging, 3.5" cradle included. Trying to get windows 7 onto a 240GB SSD using the supplied Acronis tool. Original disk was 320GB but I moved off everything bar 90GB. Software says it can clone to a smaller SSD, if the data is small enough, so should be OK. But I cannot get the SSD to boot. I cannot even run chkdsk against it, and Disk Management just hangs. Even starting from the Windows Installation CD just hangs at "Searching for Windows Installations". Every boot attempt stops at the "Starting Windows" banner. So I would be very shy of attempting to upgrade an existing Windows installation. But for a new install I would be more confident. 05 September 2015
