I bought this monitor because i had recently bought a new gaming rig that had the capability to play games at 144hz and the previous monitor i had was not only limited to 60hz but wasn't even fully 1080p so it was definitely time for an upgrade.
I had been looking for monitors for a while and decided to take a chance on this monitor as it's extremely cheap for the features it provides.
Thankfully I'm happy to report that this is definitely one of the best monitors I've ever experienced using.
The quality of the monitor is extremely well made, the bezel around the screen has a brushed matt finish so it doesn't glare or hold fingerprints and the monitor it's self can rotate 90 degrees easily.
One big thing i really liked about the monitor is the stand, not only is it really well made but you can actually attach the monitor to the stand without any tools due to it's tool less design.
The size of the monitor for me personally is perfect at 24" as I've found that 27" monitors are either too big or that they suffer in quality at 1080p.
The colours of the monitor where a nice surprise as TN panels are known to have some issues with displaying accurate colours but this one somehow seems to be an exception as the colours it displays are actually really good.
144hz & G-Sync are pretty amazing features and having now experienced them i don't think i could ever go back.
144hz especially in FPS based games made a massive improvement in smoothness and mouse control and G-Sync has eliminated any tearing and stutter in all my games.
The two USB slots on the right side of the monitor are also a nice addition with one of them enabling quick charging.
ULMB mode is something that's included with the monitor, unfortunately it's something that haven't used and i don't think i ever will. This is because using this mode disables G-Sync which for me was a bit of a deal breaker.
The last con with the monitor is to do with the cables, this is because the power lead connects to a power brick which personally isn't much of a problem.
Unfortunately the shortness of the cable that contains the power brick is too small meaning that it hangs freely instead of touching the floor. The kettle lead that connects to the power brick is fairly long though meaning that you'll have no issues.

Rated 4 out of 5 by p1t1o Really great for what I need, ok all-round.
First, the bad part.
It has a TN - Twisted Nematic display panel, this is fairly old tech, but I was expecting it to be better than my old monitor.
Unfortunately it has fairly poor colour reproduction, next to my old monitor it is visibly "washed out" or "faded".
Everything else works precisely as advertised and makes for an excellent gaming monitor, the GSYNC feature works flawlessly as advertised. No screen tear at all, smooth as silk. Nice high max refresh rate for an increase in max frames per second.
It is also pretty slick looking.
The colour repro doesn't matter too much in games, and probably wouldn't even be noticeable if my other monitor wasn't right next to it showing the same photos. (You might think "maybe the old monitor is the flawed one" - but trust me, it was obvious from the photos.)
So if you use your computer to produce artwork and photography for your job - choose a different one, but I doubt you are looking at GSYNC-enabled monitors for that :)
If you want the best gaming monitor for the price? This is a good choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dada Good monitor for the price paid
Purchased for my 16 year old son with a new MSI GTX 980 for Xmas both from Scan.He was happy with my choice of GPU but not so sure upon seeing the monitor I had chosen. That all changed once his rig was up and running and adjusted to his liking. No complaints, G- sync performance works a treat and he likes the look of the monitor.I could not afford paying double for other branded G-sync monitors that are still suffering quality control issues. At this price point and perfect out of the box it was a no-brainer for my budget.I am no gamer but can clearly see the silky smooth game play and frame rates that he is getting. With a 3 year guarantee where others generally give 2 years it represents very good value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RobDuddles Will improve your FPS experience
I was torn between this monitor and ones from Acer and Asus which were 2.5 times the price but had higher resolution...it came down to price at the end of the day and i think i made a great choice. The build quality is excellent. Its much more understated than it looks in reviews.Extremely vibrant colours ( have no idea why people say TN panels lack good colour...too much bro science on the internet)The difference between 60hz and 144hz is amazing..I went from being useless at BOPS 3 to usually coming top on multiplayer and thats down to the smothness of 144hz.Gsync is an added bonus which will probably come into its own in the future when my 980ti becomes obsolete and struggles but for now i dont think it adds much to the experience at 1080p.Dont be put off by the relatively unknown brand..its quality

Rated 5 out of 5 Excellent cheaper G-Sync solution.
Now that I've had a while to test this monitor out and using online guides to getting the most out of the monitor's own colour settings I can safely say, for being almost the cheapest G-Sync monitor you can buy, it suffers no apparent drawbacks because of this.
G-Sync works wonders for frame timings and also helps alleviate more intense gaming situations where the framerate can vary wildly and the compatibility for almost every game is excellent.
I have this monitor hooked up to my GTX 980 and can vouch for how well this monitor performs, not only in the G-Sync department, but also in it's colour/contrast ratios. Mixed with Nvidia's digital vibrance control panel option, images are much more striking.
Anyone on the fence or on a budget can't go wrong with choosing the G2460PG over some much more expensive monitors. Highly recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Synaxr Excellent monitor, but many things to consider
Yes, I know that my rating seem a bit all over the place, but do hear me out :)
Let's start with the intention of this monitor. The way I feel this way places in the market is to provide high-eng gaming experience on every level. It starts with the monitor's sleek design which I fell in love with straight away. We're looking at brushed, black rims on the outside that are roughly 1.5cm thick and hence do not obstruct your view too much. Overall this monitor can tilt, span and twist in all the crazy ways you'd want it to and the feature I love the most is the vertical adjustment. I told my monitor back- / forwards depending on how slouchy I am at the time, but that isn't enough most the time for little _extra_ angle for maximum comfort. Thumbs up from me.
Now, what really drives up the price of this monitor (and yes, I KNOW just HOW expensive the Asus one is!) is obviously the G-Sync component. This 144Hz refresh rate also has to stem from something, not to forget the fact that we have nVidia-exclusive technology in this puppy. That's all fair and good and on the 1080p display it looks absolutely glorious. I am driving things with a GTX 770 3x Windforce and am only encountering frame drops in the most demanding of games (also due to other, older components). But in most games where FPS and smooth displaying matters, it's a winner. Beautiful, beautiful smoothness everywhere.
Then, with all these goods about it, how come I only gave it 4 stars and a "poor" value rating? Well, that's mostly due to one. massive. problem. I am using a custom theme pack on my Windows 7 install that basically changes the entire appearance of my installation. What it doesn't do is change colour profiles and the way that colours are produced in their "real" (though I know that's hard to attain with professional equipment) states, at least by the graphics card. However, in applications such as Photoshop and the Windows Image Preview, I have experienced a MASSIVE colour shift, most in the white space towards sand/cream. I included a picture to show the difference in real time, on the left is my Chrome browser with independent profile and on the right the live view of an image. This problem is so far _exclusive_ to AOC monitors, as I have never experienced this on my old ASUS one that I used to use in my old flat.
I already tried to remedy the problem in a number of ways, however the more monitors I have gone through, the more I noticed a trend: Even on a normal desktop with no custom theme packs installed, colours seem washed out or too high contrast with no real "weight" to them. I'm not sure whether that problem is to do with this monitor or AOC in general, but it's certain a distraction when I consider that my 6 year old ASUS monitor had a better looking colour face to it.
The above problem is however only contained to keeping this monitor from full stars. The reason that I don't value this product as highly is mainly the price. Yes, I did know that I was about to drop a lot of money on it and yes, I did know that there are alternatives. The latter of which is actually the main reason I wouldn't say that this monitor is worth the price. Considering the bare amount of colour problems I've run into _so far_ and may still do in the future, I'm starting to feel like I'd have been better served with an Acer alternative that has an ISP panel for accurate colour reproduction. The 300-odd pounds that I dropped on this feel like went mostly in the nVidia tech which, although definitely useful, don't weigh in with the other features enough and given the range of problems, definitely should be explored more.
Given all this negativity, I have to say that I like this monitor but would recommend others for going for similar specs in a comparable price range in a different product. If AOC were to revamp this monitor and address the issues I stated, I think it could become THE 1080p G-Sync monitor that is not a 27" ASUS beast that costs more than a 980Ti, but that's a different matter entirely.

Very pleased with this monitor. Picture and quality is excellent. I'm more pleased with Scan. Ordered before 1730 and received it just after lunch the next day. Sorted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AndyPR Excellent Monitor with slight glitch in Windows 8/8.1
A great monitor and G-SYNC works like a charm. I thought I would let people know about a problem I have recently experienced with this monitor which is easily fixed. When I upgraded to windows 8.1 from windows 7 I would start the PC and the text/image would be extremely fuzzy and distorted. I would restart the PC and the image would be perfect. In short you have hybrid shutdown enabled (default in Win 8) it makes the PC shutdown faster. Restarting windows fixes the problem because hybrid shutdown isn't triggered on a restart so the kernel session starts afresh that time, You can disable hybrid shutdown in control panel....power options.....choose what the power buttons do, by clearing the box marked 'turn on fast start-up' It works for me, the only downside is it takes longer for PC to shut down.
