The U.2/U.3 connector supports PCIe 4.0 performance of up to 7,000/6,800 MB/s for sequential read and write and up to 1,600K/180K IOPS for 4K random reads and writes. In addition, it can handle sustained QD1 random 4K reads and writes with latencies as low as 90µs/15µs for high QoS and availability. This performance scales with drive capacity, and we offer the Rocket Enterprise from 1.92TB to 30.72TB for maximum flexibility.


High Endurance

The Rocket Enterprise boasts remarkable durability, engineered to endure tough environments and high write volumes. It can manage up to one drive write per day (DWPD), translating to over 56PBW for the highest capacity model (30.72TB). It reduces errors with an UBER of less than one sector per 10^18 bits read and has an MTBF of 2.5 million hours.

Additionally, it supports vital enterprise features like end-to-end metadata protection, power loss protection, namespaces, NVMe-MI via SMBus, VPD, crypto erase, and more, with optional on-demand encryption. This storage solution is crafted to meet the rigorous demands of your server workloads.

U.3 Compatibility

The Rocket Enterprise PCIe 4.0 U.2/U.3 NVMe SSD (SB-P4U2) is designed to support the new U.3 interface, It is fully backward compatible with U.2 slots and also compatible with the new U.3 slots.

This SSD provides maximum pluggability with rack storage manufacturers, ensuring its use in a broad spectrum of enterprise storage environments. Such compatibility offers flexibility for systems with existing U.2 infrastructure as well as those enabled with the newer U.3 technology.
