System Buses & Bandwidth
System Buses & Bandwidth
Date Issued: 21st Oct 2008

In computing terms, system buses are used to connect various components to the motherboard’s core logic and, often, to each other. Modern PCs run with a multitude of high-speed buses ranging from the interconnects between, say, the chipset and the CPU, graphics card, memory, and peripherals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Good product exemplary customer service Only grumble, is this is the 3rd time I have been asked to review this product.. Product it's self is good quality Corsair memory sticks, price a little high but competitive given global trend. Ram responds well, after a few pokes with the old BIOS stick, and the usual huff and puff resulting from ageing AMD bridges or lack there of.. 13 April 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by VFM I installed 4 of these on my motherboard and not had any regrets, very stable and reliable, sticks to the task when easy or demanding. I tend to favor Corsair products for their quality knowing that what it says on the package is what you'll get in performance. It's a safe bet buying Corsair memory in my eyes so go for it!!! 19 October 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Top Product Bought this for my New gaming rig and what difference it has made. have been able to run Endless Space and Crysis 3 at the same time and still have extra ram to spare. would recommend this ram to anyone. 19 February 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by It's memory by Corsair Like all Corsair memory, it seems to be great quality - I've never had a stick die or be DOA. The 8GB DIMM's are still a bit pricey but that seems to be the trend with all memory at the moment. 16GB is overkill for 90% of systems, but as I was building an m/ITX system I wanted to fully populate both DIMMS so the only way to go was 8GB sticks. The memory has good speed (1600Mhz still is the sweet spot when it comes to mhz/latency - CL9 is fine). There are cheaper memory kits available that run at 1600Mhz, but they always have a latency of 10 or 11, which in my opinion is a bit high, better to spend the extra and get this kit. Overall, it's solid memory. 29 October 2013
