Product Overview Deep Silence fan series
The Nanoxia Deep Silence fan series have been optimised for very low noise operation. The fan frame and the impeller were developed in the wind tunnel allowing them to be optimised in many tests.

Modern impeller design
The impeller design of the Deep Silence Nanoxia fan has been perfected over many years of development. It allows the best possible compromise of efficient air flow rate and the lowest possible noise level.

Rifle Bearing
The Rifle bearing of the Deep Silence fans meets the latest standards and is of the highest quality. The high-quality bearing results in a particularly high life expectancy of at least 80,000 hours, and a very quiet cooling fan operation - especially at low speeds - is guaranteed.

7-Volt Adaptor cable included
Unless a fan controller is available, the power and speed of the Deep Silence fans can be customised according to your individual requirements, using the included 7-volt adaptor cable.

Optimal upgrade for Deep Silence cases
Please note that the 120 mm and 140 mm models of the Deep Silence Nanoxia fan series are used in all Deep Silence cases. Features • Modern impeller design
• Rifle bearing
• 7V adapter cable supplied
• Optimised for Deep Silence cases

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.

Anybody who has been near their share of computer systems will appreciate that not all systems make the same amount of noise. There are a number of reasons for why this is so. Firstly, a computer makes noise for different reasons. Generally, anything mechanical is going to make noise.

120mm Nanoxia Deep Silence Ultra-Quiet PC Fan, 1300 RPM is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its oh so quiet! I bought two of these the replace the stock Corsair coolers on my H80i and I couldn't be happier! My PC used to sound like a hairdrier when it started up, now...a very satisfying, barely audible whisper is all you get, when they are spinning at max for post! Couldn't recommend these highly enough to do them justice, chamged the whole impact of the PC (which is in my living room), now there is no impact apart from button mashing occasionally during a BF1 match. Cool and quiet, without using the current restrictor thingy it comes with. Normal (excellent) service from Scan/DPD. Buy these.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Silent Although my MSI Command Centre software reports this fan is running at about 850 rpm I would not describe it as quiet. I must say that it is slightly quieter than the fan it replaced, but Deep Silence Ultra Quiet is pushing the description a bit far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad fan The fan was pretty good, but not seems to be that quite but acceptable noise. The fan glows green light at first but after a while, no light anymore but the fan still works fine. Not looking for glowing appearance but after fan performance seems ok.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Fan and very quiet These fans are very good quality and are very quiet (virtually silent).I have fitted 6 into my pc and I can still barely hear it. I would definitely recommend this product .
