Product Overview

GameMax Mirage Rainbow Dual Ring 120mm

Brand new for 2019 GameMax are proud to introduce the GameMax Mirage Rainbow Dual-Ring 120mm Fan with white fins, it is a hydraulic bearing silent fan allowing for a quiet operation during use with a noise level of approx. 25dB(A), it comes with a 5V Addressable 3pin AURA connector and the fan is powered by a 3pin power connector. It comes with various lighting effects when it is synced using an AURA connector, creating a unique look. The rubber gasket reduces vibration from the fans movement again reducing sound pollution. With the ever-increasing need for the cooling of computer components, the Mirage gives users an affordable solution, the built in LEDs allow you to customise your computer system via AURA SYNC or HUB controller. The Mirage is an ideal upgrade to help cool various components within your computer, simply attach to a suitable CPU cooler, to the chassis or to replace the fans on your water-cooling radiator. In line with the GameMax ethos this case fan offers style, performance and the ultimate experience.

Features
• Dual Ring LED: 15 LED Dual Ring Rainbow Fan with ultra-low noise.
• AURA Sync Ready: With the convenience of addressable rainbow LEDs of AURA sync, you can control RGB LED solutions to customise your computer lighting from other supported peripherals, such as RGB CPU/System Coolers, Memory Modules, Cases, HDDs, Keyboards, Mice, Mouse Pads, Headsets and LED Strips.
• Connectors: A 3pin header allows you to connect directly to your motherboard and control RGB colour, modes and much more using software. This fan is powered by regular 3pin connector, allowing for easy and universal use across all hubs that support 3pin power connectors
• Extra Support: As well as being able to connect to your motherboard you have support with a hub to give you manual control.
• Anti-Vibration Frame: Rubber frame helps absorb fan vibration and keep the overall noise down to a minimum.
• Braided Cables: The two connectors come with braided cables to help the aesthetics of your final build look neat and tidy. The braided cables offer more durability and are less likely to get tangled up during building.

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Watercooling
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.

Anybody who has been near their share of computer systems will appreciate that not all systems make the same amount of noise. There are a number of reasons for why this is so. Firstly, a computer makes noise for different reasons. Generally, anything mechanical is going to make noise.
