Product Overview EK-Vardar is the industrial grade high-static pressure computer cooling fan, designed and built primarily for highest-performance computer liquid cooling systems. This product is the result of one year worth of development, CFD analysis, careful motor selection and anechoic chamber testing.

Dubbed Vardar, this family of cooling fans carry the name of a type of the cold northwesterly wind blowing from the mountains down to the valleys of Macedonia. It is a type of ravine wind, enhanced by a channelling effect while blowing down through the Moravia-Vardar gap, bringing cold conditions from the north to the Thessaloniki area of Greece. Most frequent during winter, it is blowing in the rear of a depression when atmospheric pressure over eastern Europe is higher than over the Aegean Sea.

Rated 4 out of 5 by These shift a lot of air! I decided to upgrade all the fans in my case so they are all the same and get some extra so i can go for water cooling. First off these fans feel very well made the braided cable is nice. The RPM values though because of my inexperience might have been overkill as i am currently running them at 40-60% I guess i have the extra headroom if i feel the need. The only disappointing thing is that some of the fans did not come fully working out of eight fans: 1 barely spun, it was as if one of the bearings was stuck i didn't return as i was interested to see how it worked so i used this as the dismantling sample. 2 of them emit a slight clicking noise i suspect this will disappear if i mount them differently. For now they are not in use until i get more fan headers to use. I will try mounting to the front of the case to see if the noise disappears. These are 4 PIN PWM not sure if it says that in the description. 09 March 2016
