I'm not really sure what I expected when receiving these two Corsair AF120's. But to summarise you get two perfectly functional fans in a box and 8 screws. They aren't the quietest fans, they don't move air significantly better than any other fan I've used but the build quality seems pretty good and they are aesthetically pleasing. Also don't expect any fancy attachments in the box or rubber grommets you will be sorely disappointed.
The LED glow is quite pleasing and not too harsh, especially when you reduce their speed to around 1000 RPM. Incidentally this is where you want them to be for sensible noise / performance levels.
Overall if you have a Corsair case they fit the aesthetic, they aren't stupidly expensive and look pretty good. I was just left feeling a bit like... is that it?

the old fans were noisy and then developed a fault. These new fans were selected to be quieter and more efficient and we can see the temperature is a little lower and the noise level much lower than before so pleased with the product. Installation straightforward but slighlt difference in shape meant just fitted as replacement. Pleased took Scan insurance just in case although not needed.

airflow is very good ! i turned the fans up to 900rpm for idle state in my mobo config and i cant hear them ... and believe it or not but my temps went down by 2-5 idle and about 5-10 on heavy loads they push alot more cooler air than stock corsair case fans. the only downside is youll need to supply your own rubbers if u want the full noise cancelation which coems from little vibration. but the vibrations i dont feel them at all from fans only my 7200rpm hdd which is on rubbers pads .
also before you start putting the fans into your case , you might need to "drill" those wholes abit first with the supplied screws... they are very tight and hard to screw for the first time.
Leds are decent. not too bright , not too dark, in the middle.
other than that PERFECT fans!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kaelthun AF120s, what is there to say?
I was looking to increase the airflow in my case (CM Storm Stryker) and was looking for a set of strong intake fans. Of course I ended up setting my sights on the Corsair AF120s. The web is littered with great reviews of these as they're so competitively priced for their performance.
Suffice to say I have not been disappointed at all! They're quiet (but not silent), even at 100% speed. I run them at a max of 80% because the sound really falls off at that point. The lighting on them is great, producing a nice even spread rather than the ever so common four-led-headlights look that irks me.
This is a dual pack which makes it perfect for when you want to replace the fans on your rads or as intake fans.

I bought 3 of the double packs for my Hexa 720 radiator. The fans are well made and quiet when with all 6 are spinning at around 900rpm, relaese the hounds and throw a 4.8GHz overclock at my 4770k and spin up the fans to full speed and they're not that bad. I plan on buying another 6 to put on the pull side of the rad once the outside temps start to warm up. All in all I'd recommend them. They're not the quietest, but I'd rather have these than a quieter fan that looks like the contents of a babies nappy.

Bought these to replace 2 Corsair AF120 fans as I built a red a black themed build and I thought the LED versions would be a nice touch, which they are.
They both now run at 100% as the LED's flicker when running them through my fan controller but that isn't a problem as they are super quiet and you can't really hear them unless you pay attention.
Can't fault them, just hoping they release a SP120/140 version of these.
