Product Overview Masterfan SF120R ARGB
Introducing Cooler Master MasterFan SF120R ARGB, this is our first MasterFan with a square frame design. The square frame is designed to maximize area coverage and generate high pressure airflow, ideal for all CPU coolers. Compatible with Addressable RGB-enabled PCs, our fans are certified compatible with Asus Aura, ASRock RGB, and MSI RGB. The fan blades draws from both jet engine and helicopter blade designs. The blades propel air farther than the air pressure design while still retaining more static pressure than air flow. SF120R ARGB series is fitted with multiple layers of our exclusive noise reduction technologies to cool your entire case and its components in silence.

Addressable RGB Colour
Addressable RGB that achieves full colour customization.Certified Compatible with Asus Aura, ASRock RGB and MSI RGB.

Silent Cooling Technology
Sound absorbing rubberized padding along with an installed silent driver IC to smoothen fan rotation which reduce vibration and fan clicks.

ARGB Header Extender
MasterFan SF120R ARGB comes with an extended Addressable RGB 3 pin plugin so you could connect multiple addressable RGB devices even if your motherboard only has one Addressable RGB header. Also comes with our secure ARGB device connectors to prevent loose pin connections.

Hybrid Design
A combination of both jet engine and helicopter blade designs gives you the static air pressure you need without sacrificing airflow.

Smart Fan Sensor for Jam Protection
Smart fan sensors protect your cables and components from being snagged, damaged, or pulled by your fans. Don't worry about jams damaging your components ever again.
Features • Addressable RGB: 8 independently-controlled addressable RGB LEDs for full colour customization.
• Square fan design: Sound absorbing rubber pad frame maximizes area coverage and Airflow pressure.
• Cable management: New ARGB extension design, allows a 2nd ARGB components to a single port.
• Pwm control:Dynamically adjust speed between 650 RPM to 2, 000 RPM, minimize noise or maximize airflow.
• Software Certified: Compatible with Asus Aura, Asrock RGB, Gigabyte Fusion and MSI RGB

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Watercooling
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.

Date Issued: 5th Mar 2007

Anybody who has been near their share of computer systems will appreciate that not all systems make the same amount of noise. There are a number of reasons for why this is so. Firstly, a computer makes noise for different reasons. Generally, anything mechanical is going to make noise.
