Due to continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious individual with some prior experience in a similar role. Most importantly, we’re interested in talking to those who love SEO, and want to develop a career as a specialist in this area.
The role will initially be based remotely with flexible home working beyond Covid. Ability to commute to Horwich, Bolton from time to time is advantageous but not essential.
You’ll need a high standard of written English and have a
good understanding of what high-quality content looks like.
Knowledge of and passion for consumer electronics and/or PC Gaming industry is desirable.
The Role
In this role you will:
- Conducting and analysing keyword research using tools like Semrush & Moz to assist content production.
- Produce regular SEO reports/traffic analysis with good attention to detail.
- Responsible for all on-page SEO - headings, URLs, metadata, internal links and body content.
- Pull data and observations through competitive research.
- Find ways of amplifying the content and improving rankings.
- Recommend and scope technical optimisation fixes and/or changes to enhance site crawlability and drive performance.
- Read and share SEO updates, industry news and thought leadership to increase your knowledge. Use this knowledge to actively contribute to collaborate and share initiatives, best practices and results with the wider team.
The Candidate
For this role. you would ideally have the following skills:
- Good knowledge of technical SEO.
- Good working knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools like Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Semrush, Moz.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to produce content by turning technical knowledge into compelling copy.
- Analyse and interpret data to highlight key growth opportunities.
- Link building and outreach experience.
