The display support features mirror polished stainless steel uprights and aluminium shelves and bracketry. The wireless keyboard and touchpad needs to be available at all times and on the RAID it is served up within the driver’s reach care of a rotating keyboard tray which can be positioned on the left or right hand side.
Your driving preferences can be catered for with equipment that offers multiple layouts. Use a fully automatic gearbox to get started, keep the auto clutch and introduce manual sequential shifting using either the sequential paddle shifter or the side shifter. For the pro driver enable manual clutch, either with the same sequential gearboxes or the side shifter in gated mode.

The steering electronics in our racing simulators are operated on Granite Devices Argon and the steering wheel drive was created with a 3-phase AC servo by the company Lenze with their MCS12H15L model.
This servo reaches a peak torque of up to 29Nm, a holding torque of 20Nm and has a resolution of 16384CPR. The main feature of the Lenze servo is the super-high resolution of the steering axle, which targets much more responsive steering, and Lenze also makes the self-damping as well as friction much lower, which enables a better and higher level of adjustability.

The RAID full motion simulator is fitted with an officially-licensed replica BMW M3 touring car 320mm steering wheel. It’s full metal construction and Alacantra finish allows precise manoeuvres and smooth driving.
The wheel includes 11 buttons plus two paddle shifter buttons with ultra-reliable switches. You can use an analogue joystick to look around in the cockpit or map with any other axis. Other features include a 7-way encoder switch, LED bar to show motor RPM and LED display to show telemetry functions. There are also adjustable and detachable paddle shifters completely made of metal. You can adjust the angle, distance to rim and travel of the paddles.
These pedals look stunning. A clever use of silver and black metal produces an extremely high quality look and feel. Every part is finished beautifully and the attention to detail is superb. The pedal foot plates are very high quality aluminium and have threaded holes on the reverse side so that you can adjust their position both horizontally and vertically. The textured plastic pedal faces themselves are curved, with the coating providing only moderate grip, which means sliding your feet across the face is easy.
The hydraulic brake system is designed specifically for racing simulation. Numerous design attributes have been tested, improved, tweaked and enhanced to provide the ultimate in racing simulation realism and feel. We use an extremely high quality pressure transducer, with incredible accuracy, repeatability and durability. The pressure transducer is rated for a 50 million life cycle. The user can fine tune by adjusting the pre-load on the bumpers. The braking threshold and modulation feedback provided to the user via our hydraulic system is outstanding.
The accelerator pedal incorporates a true linear potentiometer unlike the common rotary potentiometer or slide potentiometers found on a lot of pedal systems. This provides true positional linearity relative to pedal movement. The end result is a super smooth and accurate gas pedal movement. The pedal travel is also adjustable.
There are 3 distinct stages of the clutch pedal travel. The first is slight resistance, somewhat of free pedal travel just like reality, the travel is very small. The second stage is where you feel the increased resistance as if you were actually compressing the pressure plate spring on a clutch. The third stage is when you’ve compressed the pressure plate spring and the resistance releases the rest of the pedal travel. The clutch pedal feel is the best we have ever experienced in a sim setup. We have worked really hard to simulate a real clutch and have created a beautifully constructed mechanism on the underside of the pedals to achieve this. Pressing the clutch pedal you really feel that heavy plates are being drawn apart.
