Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very fast for such a slim laptop, great value considering the components inside Powerful and portable, equally at home doing CAD work and multimedia usage as well as the advertised use as a gaming laptop. Excellent form factor due to the thin bezel and edge to edge keyboard makes it very compact for a 15.6" laptop. There are some compromises due to the size which you should be aware of if purchasing. Firstly it could use a higher capacity battery, it's obviously a lot better if you stick to web browsing and productivity stuff but still well short of most current laptops. The fans are pretty noisy once the system ramps up during gaming or hardware intensive tasks, however this is true of all slim and powerful machines I've used - and it does at least keep the temps under control! Finally, and this is just a personal opinion - while the idea of a mechanical keyboard in a laptop is great, in practice the keys used are noisily clicky in use and I find the action a bit irritating. Getting better now I've used it a bit, but I'd feel a bit self conscious typing in a really quiet location! These are mostly just niggles in my normal day to day use though, I spent a long time looking at different systems and for this price nothing can touch it. If you want a slim and light laptop with top drawer components, without shelling out the best part of £2k then the Vengeance Pro is well worth a place on your shortlist. The final point worth noting is I have had cause to test Scan's customer service a couple of times recently, and they have been excellent - which combined with the support and warranty on all 3XS machines provides great peace of mind.
