Rated 5 out of 5 by Tom1502 Great bundle
Just works well, fine and fast. All as expected and very happy with the help when I asked a question.
My only negative point was it said it would arrive in two days and actually it was five.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ramjet Well done except for bios not updated to latest
The build was well done BUT the bios was not up to date by quite a few versions. For some reason, at the time of purchase, the motherboard was not the latest 3.1 USB version ( Asus x99 Deluxe) which was a disappointment. SCAN provided a good service for the purchased DDR4 memory. What I asked for was not in stock but provided better RAM for the same price which they did not have to do! Overall a good service but room to do better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mithrie i7 5930K YouTuber's Dream!
I recently ordered a bundle including a i7 5930k, 16 GB Corsair Dominator Platinum, Corsair Hydro 100 Cooler and Asus-S motherboard. It is the dream of any YouTuber. I can now convert 1 hour of 1080p gameplay footage in just 15 minutes! It used to take 1.5 hours using my old i7 950.
Scan did a great job of answering all questions before the order, during the order and after. They also include all the original component packaging, manuals, everything in case you really want the stickers too. They also throw in a Fan Splitter cable for free. It made the experience of going through this upgrade so much easier having such fantastic service and timely delivery of components from Scan so thank you very much I will definitely be ordering again in the future.
I had my CPU overclocked to 4.2 GHz and CPU-Z has it listed at 4199.02 GHz during load, and it runs at barely 55C when at full load when converting videos. You can of course hear the fans during load but if you have headphones on it will not even be slightly noticeable. When Idle I have to check the PC to make sure its actually on because it runs pretty much silently.
I also installed Windows 10 Pro which works perfectly. My only issue was the network card was stuck in a constant 'limited availability' mode, which I was able to fix by disabling a few of the unneeded network protocols. Just make sure you keep IPv4 enabled and you'll be good to go.
The audio quality of the sound included in the Asus X99 board is fantastic and clear, it is noticeably better than what I had. Hope that helps if you are considering buying this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Benji42 Absolutely fantastic bundle. Best X99 deal around
Overall, this is a fantastic bundle deal, saving at least £75 - £150 on rival websites, when buying just the parts.
Scan pre-assemble the bundle for you, and package it very well, very secured and protected - safe for transit.
Installation was an absolute doodle (if you know what you're doing, if not it's still pretty easy but a help site would prob make it easier).
The Asus X99 deluxe is top of the line in consumer based X99 motherboards, and it's worth the premium. Brilliant build quality and looks stunning. The black and white design looks very slick and the finish on the FSB, heatsinks and I/O board is amazing. Too many features to list, especially as its the deluxe, but the LED error code display built into the board is the icing on the cake.
I went for the 5820k i7 (hex core) as I am not bothered, or need to, SLI a bunch of gpu's so didn't spend the extra on the 5930k. It still has more PCIe lanes than any z97 chipset cpu and it is a beast. Trust me. Unless you want to SLI x3 or more, don't bother. They are identical in every other way.
Also I had mine professionally optimized OC by Scan to 4.2 ghz. And it is immense. A great feature is Intel's speedstep (i think thats the name) and power efficiency - it boosts up and down with ease depending on how much you need it too = uber efficient, uber powerful.
Corsair's Dominator Platinum DDR4 (32 gb - 8 x 4GB modules on mine) is incredible. Absolutely worth every penny. Best commercial DDR4 RAM around, blisteringly fast, amazing build quality and they look immense. The white LEDs are the icing on the RAM cake.
Finally the Corsair H100, with dual SP120 fans from Corsair is possibly the best of the lot. Keeps the CPU at 25/ 26 degrees almost all the time. And it's so quiet, my friend's laptop is louder than my pc now. Worth every penny for sure. And i would warn of 2 things:
1. If you can fit it (have room) get the H100 or above, the single fan coolers are great, but for the extra few quid the dual fans are more efficient at keeping those temps low, plus it just looks a whole lot better.
2. The H100 doesn't have an LED backlit heatsink on the cpu (like the H100i) it has the same logo and amazing looking graphite coloured 'brushed' metal finish, it just doesn't light up. However, I think that's a good thing, unless you really want link or are desperate for the light-up heatsink, it's better without as it means less ugly cables hanging around the cpu & mobo, but also means less power usage and circuitry around the cpu. I was disappointed at first but realised I was luckier without it as my friend has the h100i and the cables are so hard to hide, it looks cool at times, but ultimately its pointless.
So in conclusion:
Amazing bundle, worth every penny. It was cheaper buying this bundle and using Scan's pro build team than buying the parts individually from anywhere else and building myself.
Scan's service was excellent, lots of emails to keep you informed, although it did arrive a day later than expected, but that was probably because I ordered late evening on a Tuesday ^^.
The X99 combination is immense, I am absolutely smashing benchmarks, opening every single program I have installed at the same time as running games on Ultra (a gtx 980 helps) and it is barely breaking a sweat.
X99 means ultra high performance, ultra low temps and ultra power efficiency.
In fact, the delight of using the PC means I'm excited to go home everyday. No matter what.
