Reviews
  • Scan's build is smart, balanced, and without any unnecessary hardware fluff

"Everything in the 3XS Gamer is there to make it a great gaming rig, which it is. Scan have introduced a 3XS Gamer system with a high-end spec, but zero extraneous fat. Everything they’ve chosen to fill it out with is there to make good with the gaming, without unnecessarily adding to the cost."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic gaming machine Like machines I had before from Scan the quality and neatness of the build was perfection and great to look at. The overall performance of the machine is fast for all the usual general tasks. It is used mainly for gaming and so far all the games tried have been able to run in the highest settings and all look fantastic and run smoothly. That is for games like Stormworks and Satisfactory. The machine runs quiet and hasn’t been to hot either when gaming. Extremely pleased with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent service, excellent hardware, fair price When I first started looking in to buying a new system I was looking though the Dell/Alienware website. A friend of mine looked at the config I'd mocked up and said to me, "You can get a better deal at Scan." He was right, and then some. If you want premium components at a fair price, an expert build and excellent service, these are your guys!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very satisfying Its a nice piece of kit, though I downgraded my processor and upgraded my graphics card to suit me more. Only made one mistake, didnt upgrade the psu to an 850 to future proof it. Ah well, live and learn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent service as usual This is not the first time I have bought a gaming rig from Scan. After my previous purchase experiences, Scan was definitely the go-to company I headed to when it was time for an upgrade. Faultless, professional and trustworthy. The rig before my latest purchase was about 3 years ago. That purchase was brilliant and judging by my most recent experience they have only improved over the years. No doubt when this new rig is obsolete, I will be returning to Scan for its replacement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New corsair pc Great customer service, very helpful and so happy with the product. Delivered on time within 5 mins of the estimated time, all round I'm one very happy customer and I wouldn't hesitate to use scan again to buy any other product in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well put together where it counts. From having pictures of the process of your computers construction and set up from parts through to operating system installation. To having peace of mind on the computers performance from a 24 hour burn in before it is sent out to you. The best way to buy a new computer.

Questions & Answers

GPUs

Hi I am looking to buy a PC such as the 3XS Gamer 1070, however, I already have a strong GPU from my previous upgraded PC. I noticed that I may remove the GTX 1070 from the custom build, would then using my own GPU have any warranty implications? Cheers Mark
Asked by: Eros
Not certain, but a quick phone call should clear that up pdq. I would expect that as long as you make sure that the psu is meaty enough to power everything it should be ok.
