My CPU was hitting 90c+ on games like Battlefield 4, Crysis 3 etc. Since I installed this fan it rarely goes above 70c.
Easy to install, very quiet and a bargain at under £30.
Only just fits in my case though, it touches the left side panel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Oobie Decent cooler and average price
Cooler looks good, fits rather snugly (theres about 2 mm of space between the fan and my high profile Crucial Ballistix DIMMS, anything with a wider heatspreader would have stopped this from fitting! Using a gigabyte z87-HD3 mobo), and isnt too tall (housed in a Define R4 case)
Its also dead silent as runs at 1000RPM.
Whilst Ive given this a 5 star rating, its quality is 4 due to the fact that the alignment holes on the back-plate dont match up with the instructions on how to fit. It still allows for a secure attachment to the mobo but its a bit poor from Silverstone.
(Someone also had this problem in a review before mine)
Value is well placed, as when you do look for better coolers, they come in slightly heavier and more expensive - think Noctua!
Temps are nice and avg about 26 on idle (after 24hours)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sherminator Quality construction. Awful data sheet.
Great design and well made. For a novice (me), the assembly instruction was very inadequate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MattSWA Easy to Install
The Silverstone AR01 is a product that does exactly what it is supposed to do, that is cool down the CPU. The cooler comes packaged with mountings for both Intel and AMD. It was easy to install but did at times need to refer to an online video for installation as the instructions are a bit vague. The product is quite large and fits into the Corsair 300R with not much space to spare so check that your case is wide enough to fit the product. The product isn't wide so I was still able to fit the RAM next to it without needing low profile sticks as there is no overhang from the cooler, even with the fan on the RAM side. There is space on this cooler for two fans (one on each side) and enough thermal paste for multiple remounts.

This cooler performs in a par to others at double the price and more.
I have it fitted with 2x corsair SP-120 PWM fans on my over-clocked fx-6300 running at 4,5Ghz and the temp under load never exceeds 60 degrees and at idle 30-35 degrees.
Fitting it was easy and straight forward and the rubber fan mounts are surprisingly easy to use too.
If your not over-clocking this would be a near silent cooler just using the stock fan which is adequately quiet when not under excessive load.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TommyP Very good cooler for the money!
Installed this one on Sniper Z87 with i5 4670K. At stock keeps coy at 27c, burn test for 10 min at 50c. What more can you expect?
Easy set up, but on this board 1 ram slot got covered, so need to watch it is very close.

Rated 4 out of 5 by cpng installation was not completely smooth
The back plate provides several sets of screw holes for the various sockets, but these are not well labelled and also seemed to be in the wrong position. After trying every combination (of three holes at each of the four corners) I found one that fits albeit with the back plate at an angle and not all screws lined up perfectly with the holes of my Intel 1155 motherboard.

Top Cpu cooler dropped the temps on my AMD A10 5800 by 20c over the supplied AMD cooler , can now over clock the CPU to a 46 Multi, and it still don`t hit no more 65c on a full load prime test.
For the price you can`t go wrong £20.00 at time of posting.
