Product Overview The special feature of RASURBO’s brand new PC case “XANGE” (pronounce: exchange) are coloured design plates being accurately attached to the case’s front (two plates) and top (one X-shaped plate), held by micro magnets. Each case includes a whole set of 21 plates in seven different colours: green, red, blue, silver, orange, white and black. If you combine these 21 plates you will receive the incredible possibility of 343 (7³) design options! In addition, there are three 45 mm coloured LED displays on the inclined top part of the case, each offering the separate control of one case fan’s speed. Equipped with a temperature sensor the displays not only show the fan’s current speed (RPM) but also the respective case temperature (ranging from 1° to 93°) is being indicated. The sensors can easily be placed at a selected spot inside the chassis. The LED’s colour can simply be switched from blue to yellow to red to white to green or they can be switched off totally – whereas that does NOT switch off the monitoring and control function of the unit. Each display unit offers also the possibility of a alarm function, triggering if one of the fans is being blocked or fails. Each case is equipped with one silent 120 mm fan as-delivered.
If you combine mathematically the design options of the coloured metal plates and the LED displays you will receive the amazing figure of 74.088 options (7³ times 6³)! Features • Front I/O: 1x USB 3.0, 1x USB 2.0, 1x eSATA, 1x headphone, 1x microphone.
• Inside black painted.
• Power supply position: bottom.
• Slots 13.34 cm (5.25“): 2 extern.
• Slots 8.89 cm (3.5“): 5 = 1 extern und 4 intern.
• M/B: Flex ATX, ATX, Micro ATX.

Chassis Airflow

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Watercooling
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.
