BIOS is updated frequently

Your PC may not work unless you update the BIOS. This often happens when you try to install new CPUs such as Pentium III and K6-3s, or try to install new peripherals. Motherboard manufacturers will keep updating their BIOS to support the latest devices and to make the motherboard more stable. These BIOS are open to users through Internet in most cases. Some enthusiastic motherboard makers update their BIOS every month to support the latest devices for the sake of their end users. Please keep in mind that once you change to a new Operating System, it is very possible that you need to update the BIOS.

You can't afford to fail on BIOS updating

BIOS update is done by an utility which comes with the new BIOS data. BIOS update itself can be completed within a few minutes. However, in cases of power failure, removing the floppy disk or pressing the reset button accidentally, or when the BIOS updating is not completed, your system will NEVER BOOT AGAIN. In fact, there will be many problems once the BIOS updating fails. First, there will be no warranty given by the dealer or the maker, and you will have to pay expensive costs for the repair. Secondly, it is very difficult to find a reliable service. In addition, it will be inconvenient not having a computer in hand and a risk of letting out your personal data. Therefore, you should understand why it is better to update your BIOS because you cannot afford to fail during BIOS updating process. Features
