The IC Essential E1 is a high performance thermal compound to meet the requirements of mainstream CPU cooling. With its low thermal impedance and appropriate viscosity, IC Essential E1 can provide very efficient heat transfer and can be spread easily and evenly.

It's also bundled with a grease cleanser that allows you to easily clean old thermal grease away.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seems good got this free with a 9900K which was lucky because i can't find my AS5 or CP7 paste! seems thicker than AS5. probably about same consistency as CP7. performs similar to CP7. idle/light usage temps are 27-33C with a 9900K on a BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4. absolute max temperature was 94C running Linpack Extreme. I know this sounds alarming but, again, this was MAX temperature recorded and Extreme in the name is there for a good reason. This is the absolute worst case scenario and this program puts your CPU under EXTREME loads. It was actually averaging about 87-88C during the test. 94C is just the max. I can't stress this enough. Also, it maxed at 74C running IntelBurnTest so that's a good 20C cooler (this shows just how stressful Linpack is). Games were running at about 40-50C. if i can find my trusty AS5 paste i'll be using that but until then this will do.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Be warned when purchasing this product I bought this product as my older thermal paste was running low. When applying it, it did seem to be slightly 'runnier' than the last one, but figured this was merely the way of things. However about 3 weeks after this i noticed so rather high CPU temps while playing games so decided to check and reseat it, just incase. This is where the problems started. When removing the CPU cooler block, the runny thermal paste ran strings of paste all over the place, over the motherboard,over the RAM, over the plate that holds the CPU in, it was a mess. After spending nearly 2 hours cleaning it all off, i also found that where normally it takes some cleaning alcohol to clean paste off the block and CPU, this stuff simply wiped off, which a rather runny consistency. Now, it is entirely possible that i got a bad batch, but never had any issues like this with any of the other thermal pastes i've used before, as such it's gone in the bin after just one use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it says on the 'tin' Very cheap product, no problem with temperature after using. Also comes with a spreader, although from everywhere i've read the recommended method is to NOT spread thermal paste.
