My stock CPU cooler broke on me, 1 day later I had this cooler in my hands. Installation was fine, apart from having to take my motherboard out, but that's more my issue than an issue with the cooler.
For this price and the temps I am now getting, I would recommend this!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dustybin8 Great cooling, good value terrible instructions.
This is not the easiest fan in the world for a novice to install. The instructions are pretty poor quite frankly but I think most people could figure it out without them. The build quality is pretty good and it keeps everything below 50C when gaming at stock speeds, I tried a mild overclock and didn't notice the CPU temps creep any higher than 53C which seems pretty reasonable for under 30 quid.

First time I had tried a third party cooler but with the help of some excellent Youtube videos this fitted no problem despite its massive size. I was worried my mobo wouldn't be able to support it but it's no problem at all. It keeps my i5 4670 at around 20-30C in normal use and even when gaming it doesn't get more than around 40-50. It's also extremely quiet. Loads better than the stock cooler.

This CPU fan is brilliant. Running it with an i5 4750k haswell on a Asus Rampage Hero MOBO. Have yet to see my CPU temp go over 33 degrees celsius whilst gaming or media ripping 10/10

This is for an experienced system builder as the instructions are pretty useless, but I got there in the end.
More importantly, the build quality is good & the product is excellent at it's job, so I'd definitely recommend it.

I've used this to replace my Arctic Cooling Freeze Pro 7 version 2. I have it fitted to an AMD Phenom II 970Be. The Freezer Pro 7 had cooling issues & let the processor reach 80 C. This cooler makes a huge difference. On the hottest day of the year it maxed out @ 54 C. It is a little tall & only just fits in my case which is 20cm wide. Well worth the £23 it costs to keep my CPU safe.

I use this to cool my Intel 3570k and i am very pleased with the results, when i am not gaming it sits about 30 degrees to 29 but when i am gaming it floats from about 40's to 50's sometimes after long periods of time 60 degrees. But for this price and how well it cools down cpus it is a definite buy. The thermal paste that came with it is of a very good quality and i should point out that my case has a very high amount of air flow so you results may be slightly different.
- The back plate is a real pain to put on and mount the rest of it too.
- The instructions were a little confusing.

I use this to cool my i5 3570k, as, after a few hours of gaming, my processor would get to 80 degrees, NOT OVERCLOCKED, crazy right? Well, anyway, this keeps it around 60 when gaming. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product.
