Rated 5 out of 5 by JammyDodger231 cool and quiet
Bought the 212 recently and its running wonderfully temps are around 15 degrees C lower than stock AMD cooler but the main thing I'm going to rave about would be the sound my idle sound is like 20 decibels so awesome for not breaking any immersion whilst playing more quiet games

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mark44 Excellent Cooling and Quiet
I bought this to replace a Cooler Master Xtreme that had a snapped plastic retaining module after several years of use. Firstly overall build quality is excellent but is let down by a poorly finished contact face which if polished up should reduce temperatures by a couple of degrees. In comparison to my previous cooler it runs a couple of degrees warmer on my Q9550 at idle with the hottest core at 40 degrees however at 100% the hottest core reached 60 degrees which was approximately 5 degrees cooler (with a second fan fitted and MX-2 thermal paste). Overclocked to 3.4Ghz max temperature was 66 degrees with ambient temperature of 24-25C.

Rated 5 out of 5 by sidspacewalker Cooling, affordably.
Please note, I use this cooler for a maximum of 4.0 Ghz overclock which is handled by the MSI Z97 G45 Gaming's OC Genie software.
The cooler provides better temperatures than stock and is good for mild overclocks. If you're looking for high performance cooling for higher overclocks, look elsewhere because this product cannot handle it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by theworkerbee excellent fan, if you still have your stock fan, upgrade now!
My stock fan noise levels were driving me insane so I spoke to the sales team at Scan who recommended this fan. I am delighted with the fan, it is quiet enough for me to design/develop and eases the stress of sitting in front of the computer day in day out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Amir Perfect Solution for Tall RAM
I bought this as my previous CPU cooler (Arctic Cooling Freezer 11i) did not fit alongside my newly purchased Corsair Vengance RAM (due the tall heat sinks and occupying all four memory slots).
The heat sink on this fan is much thinner and the fan can be positioned on either side in a pull or push (airflow) position - more importantly, it cools As effectively as the Freezer 11i.
It IS fiddly to attach however, so patience and nimble fingers required. The heat sink itself also has very sharp edges, giving me a minor cut.
Fan is simple to re-position (can be Pull or Push airflow) - plus can purchase another and mount TWO fans on one heat sink (but note that this may not be possible with RAM which has tall heat sinks).
Really pleased with this purchase.
I run an overclocked Intel i5 4670k - average temperatures (after few hours heavy gaming ~35 deg. C)

Rated 5 out of 5 by cookmytree the best you can buy at this price tag
The title says it all really, this is an excellent cooler which allowed me to mount 2 fans to it. It is keeping my CPU at a very low temperature and the fan supplied is quiet. Cooler master is definatley a brand I would recommend.
