Rated 4 out of 5 by xceptionzero 8 cores at 4ghz at a cost effective level !
Was running a 4300 for a while but needed some more grunt for my r9 280 to play with. From 14627(higher than 49% of results) in 3dmark to 18509(higher than 70% of results) after the 8350 went in. The bang for the buck is why I bought this and I am very happy with the results :)

I brought the 8350 with the intention of running multiple programs atonce, especially when gaming. I like to check speeds temps loads fps an so forth so requirements needed something heavy.
The 8350 delivered those requirements. I play and work with no problems. Just waiting to overclock. Only niggle is the cpu fan. It's a bit on the noisy side. But if you plan to over clock, an after market cooler will be needed and appreciated in its noise output...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Little92 Stick with 8320 if your only going to 4.4ghz.
Great chip, recommend it if your water-cooling.
I'd recommend full tower case with fan's if your getting the pre-made water loop's.

Rated 4 out of 5 by FamilyTechGuy Perfect for work, not as good at play, but is set to be better supported in the future
The virtualisation features make this CPU a necessity for people running virtual machines but the 8 cores also make it great for multi-threaded work such as computer aided design (CAD). With games providing better multi-thread support and the newly released consoles having a custom version of this processor in it means the longevity of the processor in gaming is better than a similarly priced Intel one despite Intel having a performance advantage at the moment.
The processor is very responsive during normal use in Windows 8.1, you wouldn't notice a difference between this and an Intel i5, but it manages to do better than my old 4 core Intel processor when there are more windows open which is great.
Good features, very good price and a promising future with multi-threaded support getting better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nervox12 Bang for your Buck!
I have bought this CPU because it was just as good as an i5 3570k - 4670k, but this is bang for your buck and it goes really well with an AMD R9 270X Toxic edition and a Zalman Z5 case. The stock cooling is good if you don't OC it to
Much!

An amazing processor very very fast. The only thing i would suggest is buying a better cpu cooler, as the one it comes with is painfully loud. Playing BF4 was awful, i could hear the fan through my headset.
