A 3.5" hard drive has a total of eight screw holes for mounting: one set of four holes on the sides, and another set of four holes on the base. However, this mounting bracket has only holes on the sides, meaning it cannot be attached to some cases.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple, cheap, works Can't really give this a full review as the PC I was fitting the drive into is missing a couple of 3.5" bay adapters. The Akasa adapter is just acting as a support for a 2.5" SSD sitting on the base of the case. It does that just fine.
