Product Overview
RAID 1 technology
RAID 1 is like a backup for your backup. It causes the drives in your storage device to mirror each other, so if one drive fails the unaffected drive will continue to function until the failed one is replaced.

Web file server and FTP server
The DNS-320 includes a built-in Web File server and FTP server to make accessing files remotely, over the Internet, a breeze. The FTP server will come in handy when you need to share a file too big to e-mail to a friend.

DLNA server
This ShareCenter device has a built-in media server that can stream your photos, music and videos to all of the computers in your home and to compatible media players like Boxee Box, Xbox and PlayStation 3 so you can enjoy it all on your TV.

10/100/1000 Gigabit port
The 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet port gives you blazing fast speeds so you can back up and access your data without the wait.

Cooling fan
There’s no overheating in this device’s future. It comes with a quiet, built-in cooling fan that only comes on when needed, saving you power and money.

D-Link easy search utility
The D-Link easy search utility allows you to locate your ShareCenter from anywhere on the network and map your network drive so it will conveniently appear in "My Computer" on your PC.

Backup software
The included feature-rich backup software allows you to create schedules and rules including full or incremental backups.

Easy setup
Not quite the handyman? That’s ok. You can insert an additional hard drive without using any tools or attaching any cables.

D-Link green
This product allows hard drives to enter sleep mode when not in use to conserve electricity and prolong the life of the hard disk. Plus, it uses recyclable packaging and complies with the European Union’s RoHS directive.

USB print server port
This storage device can also serve as a USB print server, allowing you to share a single USB printer over your network. The USB port can also support a Universal Power Supply (UPS) monitor that supports ‘smart’ signaling over a USB connection. If a power outage were to occur, the compatible UPS monitor would allow the UPS unit to safely shut down the ShareCenter.

AjaXplorer is a file explorer that allows you to remotely manage your files using a web browser. Stay protected - anywhere, anytime.

Mac friendly
Not to worry, Mac users! ShareCenter can back up your data regardless of your computer's operating system (Windows, Mac or Linux)

Support for:
AFP (Mac)
Time Machine (Mac)
NFS (Linux)

Customer Reviews
Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by well built and reliable What can I say - Does the job I bought it for without fuss 21 November 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Works well for budget NAS. A bit flimsy when installing drives. Used 2 500GB Toshiba drives in RAID1. Works well. Still got to try remote access. Only drawback found so far (1 month in use) is that NAS needs restarting if router is restarted or users experience problems with access. 14 August 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Stunningly useless software Decent enough build but for a beginner this is almost impenetrable - the software that comes with it will not pick up the NAS at all. OK if you know your way around your networks, but if this is your first NAS I'd have someone on hand who knows what they're doing! All in-built software is pretty average - torrent client is useless. Still, easier than building your own, and cheap! 27 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great budget solution I have been using this NAS non-stop for over 2 years now! It has never had even a slight hitch. It has the RAID 1 compatibility however I just have the one 2TB drive in there which is plenty fine for my needs. The reason that I knocked a point off of Quality is that the UI management menus take a bit of getting used to and (I hate to say it) has a cheap feel to it. Apart from that, I love this NAS and would greatly recommend it to anyone. 17 February 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by very good bit of kit this is a great product and would recomend it . It arrived in good time 14 October 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great NAS Massive improvement on my old Linksys Mediahub - its a lot quieter, and a lot faster, I was getting 8 MB/s on the Linksys through a gigabit switch, i'm now getting between 18 and 25 MB/s. Other cool things are a Torrent application built in, and a scheduler so you can choose when the NAS drive is powered up or down. The DNS-320 I received differs from the product image and I think it is a more updated DNS-320 (not the DNS-320L) I have two of these at the moment and will be getting a third when the girlfriend allows me to do so. Highly Recommended 02 October 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value Good value. Have as raid 1 as a back up drive, but it's not the fastest on data transfer 11 August 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cost-effective basic backup storage device More suited to a backup device than a fileserver, as was disappointed to discover that backup of the internal disks to external USB HDD is not supported, so doesn't permit rotating offsite storage of recovery backups. Otherwise happy with construction, RAID setup and web UI. Cannot rename primary share, and quirky method of creating new shares, though can hide original primary share. Very cost-effective way of setting up RAID1 mirrored disk, so good resilience against single disk failure, but not easy to protect against whole-unit failure or accidental file deletion as RAID1 will simply mirror that on both disks. Unit is essentially end-of-life and no further firmware updates will reportedly appear, so what you buy is what you'll stay with. Firmware version is B1, so apparent firmware updates on DLink website will not install as they're only for A1/A2 firmware - not at all clear in documentation and install failure has no helpful diagnostics. Basic filestore functionality OK, but disappointing when trying to implement into real-life business NAS scenario. 09 August 2013
