Product Overview The VH197D delivers users vibrant images with green power efficiency. The LED monitor adopts LED back light panel delivers high contrast images and can save up to 40% power consumption, completely mercury free. Users can dynamically enhance their displays contrast by up to 10,000,00:1 using ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio (ASCR) technology. ASCR automatically adjusts the luminance of the backlight to achieve the darkest black and the brightest white delivering lifelike images. Aspect Control function allows users to select a preferred display mode among Full and 4:3 for true-to-life gaming or movie watching without any data loss or image distortion.

The exclusive Splendid Video Intelligence Technology optimises video performance and image fidelity by enhancing colour, brightness, contrast and sharpness. 5 pre-set video modes (scenery, theatre, game, night view and standard) can be selected via hot key.
